I finished my conversion this past weekend, was super easy cutting out the tab holes and the front splitter is super easy to remove as well. Thanks for all of the videos keep them coming their fun to watch!

Awesome! Nice work, and thank you!

Yeah, no issues with the hole cutting.. My only issue was trying to put in the Trufiber inlets... I just could not get them to fit into place so I said F it after many wasted hours and ordered the OEM 1LE inlets.. they arrived Monday and I clipped them right no, no problem! LOL.

I'll be doing the splitter hopefully this week as free time allows!

To each his own. I have to disagree with your about the hash marks and 1LE emblems. I like and installed both. What I didn't like was the standard Camaro emblem/crest on the side of the fender. That's the first thing I removed from the car.

And that’s why it’s your car. You fix it up like you like it. Me I prefer a clean overall look. But they make those parts cuz people buy them and like them.

I will be removing that side badge but not putting anything back up.

Got a nice warm Day in the Desert today ,feels like 70plus , actual 67. Went to find a Shell station, usually Chevron but I read after a comparison of a number of brands Shell was rated top. Hummm well anybody got a comment.
Then off for a cruise 30 miles or so and a final stop at soapy suds , to blow off the dust ( in the desert that's all you need to do) and was her 1st shower, usually I use my duster and Detail spray.
Took about 40 minutes or so to dry her . Finally did my 1st burnout lite hase (in a private parking lot) can I say that. A guy and his wife drove up in there golf cart (legal here) stopped and talked , he knew what a ZL1 is . That was cool talking to him.

I recall reading that the Shell 91/93 octane contains PEA's
where Chevron with Techron does not

oh, bad ass rig BTW

I know it's titled what we did today, but seeing JTS's pictures I also had to share ... went for a long cruise on Sunday by the ocean. What an amazing machine!

3D-printed tow hook cover mod

If you have a '19+ SS, a 3D printer, and an aftermarket tow hook, you may find this interesting. I wanted to leave my ZL1 Addons tow hook on all the time, but I don't like how the grill looks with the cover missing, so I made an ABS part that superglues to the back of the cover and lets you cut out enough to fit the tow hook post through. Free to download and print on Thingiverse.

I bought a spare tow hook cover from eBay for about $40 so that I can use it if I ever want to go without the tow hook for a while and want a pristine cover.

What can I say...I've been binge watching Monk lately, and his OCD is rubbing off on me.

Finally got the Anderson Composites front zl1 1le splitter installed. Hope to get time to get the bumper back on and the replacement parts for the damage from the tire incident on maybe tomorrow!

Applied a coat of ceramic coating to the car. I used the spray ceramic made by Turtle Wax that I first saw mentioned and endorsed on here. It's called Hybrid Solutions. It's a bargain at $15 for a spray bottle.

I first tried it on my daily driver Dodge Durango and my wife's Pacifica. After getting good results on those I thought it was good enough to put on the Camaro too.

Not really a coating more of an Sio2 sealant. Good product. Won’t protect the car like a true high solids coating.

A great in between product of a high solids coating and the TurlteWax is Gyeon CanCoat. You will be amazed at the water behavior (looks like water is scared of it) and the High Candy gloss it gives.

Easy as the TurlteWax to apply and yo will get 1-1.5 years of protection.

I passed 1500 miles today and I can finally have a bit of fun with the car. I'm really excited to try the No Lift Shift at some point in the next few months when the temps are mild enough.

NLS isn't something that will damage your car. It just cuts throttle so you're at the right rpm for your next gear. It's no worse than shifting w/o it at high rpm.
