I will say. I do like them and they look good but are they worth the $800 compared to EoS for $200 or other ones less expensive. I doubt it. These should cost $400 max for what they are. Done and over with now.

Don't second doubt yourself , leave that to me , I'm the master and drive myself Nuts. I always try to go top quality in my purchases if it warrants in the application. We have been wet and cold here in the Desert, on and off last few months. Flagstaff and North record snow fall. May do a Cars n Coffee this Saturday morning.
Happy Motoring to you .

We've had kinda up and down weather here in central Texas this winter, but mostly warmer than usual. It was 78 today so I put the top down and went out at lunch to get a burger. Gotta love this car.

I began my carbon fiber zl1 1le front end conversion Anderson composites front splitter, Trufiber canards, Trufiber fog light bezels, and OEM 1le upper and lower grill. I must admit... removing the upper grill was a PITA, haha. Pulling the front bumper is fairly straightforward thankfully.. just a million screws and clips!

I'm about to do this very same thing in the near future, i keep hearing about the upper grill, what exactly makes removing it a PITA?

The clips... tons of them, all super close together, and the grill itself is thin so popping a clip and trying to move down to the next clip almost requires 10 hands. I ended up just Dremel cutting off the grill's tension clips (not the bumper clips) and pulled it off after messing with it for an hour, haha.

Another quick question, why did you end up going with the Anderson front splitter and not going with the Trufiber one. Seems like it's a quarter of the price. Also how difficult was it to Dremel out the spots for the dive planes on the front bumper, any tips or tricks with that?

When I ordered the splitter I believe Trufiber one was out of stock at the time.

I have not begun on the canards yet.. Will be soon and can report back on how that goes lol.

Thanks dude. I've seen people use a dremel for that as well, should be pretty straight forward but lmk how it goes.

I got rock guards in from zl1 addons. My car is currently getting PPF in the high impact areas, bumper, fenders, rocker panel. I am hopefully picking it up tomorrow.

Just installed the 1le upper grill.. also a PITA to snap into place, lol.

Removed the lower grill and it was 10x easier than the upper so that's a plus.

Added 4 more ground wires. Car runs much smoother, picked up 2mpg on the hwy and dyno proven 6rwhp.

Holy sh*t.. that’s legit for just some ground wires.. definitely will be a part of my eventual build I’ve heard a couple places that the ground issue is why you usually get a slow crank on cold starts.

Don’t buy in to his B.S. He has a thing about making fun for adding a ground cable. There are no performance gains for this. However regardless of his views there is absolute value to adding a ground cable if you get slow cranks on a hot start. Granted adding the cable is just easier than crawling around under the car to find and fix the inadequate and/or defective factory ground. This is a known problem for the 2016 SS LT1. Fortunately the issue doesn’t seem to plaque later models.
