LT4 fueling should be a sticky on Forced Ind forum. Such a common mistake, myself included, to think the LT1 fueling will work with a blower.

In your defense, the vendors claim stock fueling is ok on these, plus many others make the same (flawed) claim. Really need to research it to understand what you're actually getting into with these things.

And E-30 never mind E-85 is NOT possible even at 6 psi boost. Everyone want's 600 RWHP on a 570 RWHP fuel system which always leads to broken pistons every time. Lower your expectations or install a complete Lt4 fuel system with the supercharger. Fuel supply is the foundation of Horsepower. Ted.

These guys are all very knowledgeable and willing to help, I’d listen. I started out thinking p1x 7psi setup 550 whp, well I bought the lt4 fuel stuff and dsx kit because most shops recommended that at a min. I was able to run e30 but the pulley that was supposed to be 7ps is actually pushing 8.5-9psi @ 6500. So that worked my fuel system even harder. I’d recommend thinking long and hard on end goals. I wish I had done more research. Now I’m going all out with Fore innovations fuel system, lpe big bore, +30 injectors, and forged short block lmao. I could have saved a bunch of money and bought stuff once. With that being said I’ll have lt4 HPFP, injectors and dsx aux kit for sale real soon. I’d listen to these guys, again there are some very knowledgeable and helpful people on here. Just my 2c |

Those numbers are fine with me as it will make the car more enjoyable to drive and not cause any issues. I had goals and brought the e85 kit before I got decided on the PC. I will most likely run 93 all the time like I do anyway. So unless I can sell the kit I'm going to install it and have that option if I like to. Not looking to reinvent the wheel here just make it spin a lil faster.......... |

Upgrade the fuel system or don't put a supercharger on it. Not sure how to explain it any simpler. We already addressed this through the course of the thread. If you need 1 on 1 consultation we can discuss more via PM for a nominal fee. LOL

The allure of inching ever closer to the precipice cannot be underestimated (sigh).

I haven’t had mine on the dyno but I’m probably real close to 600whp. I’m at 9psi e30. Saturday I raced my buddies Maggie car that went 10.5 last year with 580 whp and now he’s got a port kit on full e85 at 650 whp and we were side by side up to 150mph neither of us could gain any ground. Like it’s been said previously, stock fuel system might get you 550-560 idk. These are reputable shops and tuners giving out this info. They do it on the daily. I wanted same as you in the beginning, then I got the HP bug lol |

I didn't mention that I order that kit (e85) before I even thought about going with the procharger but now that I'm going that route I don't needed it. BUT...... if I can't sell it I'm going to just install it. Wasted money.............probably. I'm sure I'm not the first to jump to a conclusion and change my mind 1/2 way through it. If a time comes I do want more out of it at that point just upgrade the fuel system and I'm there. Its just that right now that's not where my head is at.

However if you want it to perform up to it's full potential reliably then you should strongly consider the advice provided. A dyno whp number needs to be the least of your concern anyway. Just because a dyno shop hands you a piece of paper showing 600whp does not mean it will actually perform like it makes 600whp on the street. Imo you are not going to make more then 540ish tops on stock fuel system reliably at a SAFE AFR. A lot tunes I see run these engines too lean to stretch the fuel system. Then you need to consider the fact that 93 pump gas really isn't enough octane for these engines with boost. You end up needing to run very conservative timing and lean afr to get it to squeak by on stock fueling. It's a waste of time. A bolt-on E85 NA car will give you fits in a race. Either way it's your money do as you wish.

![]() Taking it all in and will bring up these questions when I go to drop the car off and we'll see what happens. Besides my understanding is the 1LE shares the same intake fuel pump as the ZL1 so that should relieve the pain if I do go that route. |
