Has anyone seen if the constraints have been updated this week? Maybe @DylansZLE can post an update by chance if you have one and don't mind doing so lol

My current car is dying, and I think I'm (mentally) ready for another Camaro, after my debacle with the last one. But if I'm going to get one, I'm going to order what I want (2SS, 1LE, PDR, and a few other small options). But I dont see the point if its going to be stuck in limbo and/or major features of the 2SS trim will be missing.
Just came across this... Doesn't mention Camaro's so fingers crossed they still get!

I'm hoping that affects new orders, and not stuff already in the pipeline and at 3000 status or above. There's no way I'd accept my 2ss without heated seats for $150 - $500 credit. Maybe for the cost of the 2ss package I'd consider it.

Some dealers may hesitate to put it in the system until they know they can use an allocation, dealer policy apparently varies quite a bit - but the system itself will allow it to be entered.
Does this effect their ability to enter this as a Sold Order versus a Stock Order?

I'm pretty sure that it won't afect orders that have reached the 2000 event or higher, based on what' I've read in posts on this board at least.

It's folks like me that are at 1100 that MAY be in jeorpady of it lol. I really wish my salesman didn't screw up in the beginning with telling me they had allocation when they didn't. He fully apologized for screwing that up - but here I stand at 1100 becaue of it lol

My order was at 3400 status in August, but they keep pushing the TPW forward every month. I don't think my car will produced anytime soon.

I'm not an expert, but I really can't see why it would matter one way or the other. The only real difference between the two is that they are much more sure of a final sale on a Sold Order vs a Stock one. In the current market with cars in short supply, though, it probably makes zero difference - somebody's gonna buy it!

Thanks DylansZLE. I've been thinking about slipping in a Camaro order but wanted to check first since that's a feature I'd really like.

Wow. I've been at 3000 status since September. Current TPW is 12/13, but that's been pushed back a month over the past month.
In my case in upstate NY, that's OK as I don't want to take winter delivery anyway. But come March/April I'm going to be wanting this car pretty bad. I guess we'll see what happens.

My car was built last week, and while I haven’t taken delivery yet, so can’t 100% confirm - those options are listed on the build report with my VIN that my dealer sent me.

Also, haven’t seen anything saying they were being removed on Camaros… the recent article about it was directed at SUVs I believe.

Hi all,
New here and first time post. I just ordered a ZL1 2 weeks ago from a dealer that told me they had an allocation so fingers crossed. A little back story I ordered a Mach 1 last May and after 6 months and a vin issued Ford cancelled my order and I decided to no order a 22'. I always had a thing for ZL1's so I decided to order one. I've been paying attention to the constraints because of what I had to deal with on the cancelled order so I have been searching around and found this on GM Fleet.......

If you look at updates from week of 11/15 it adds some more info. There are new option codes for not equipped with heated and ventilated seats. Says certain cars built after 11/15 may not have heated or ventilated seats. I was looking to order soon, but based on this I’ll be postponing indefinitely.

Heated seats has no bearing on whether I keep a car or not, no tears will be spilt.
