The first car I bought at 17 was a 2 year old Corvette Bronze color '68 Camaro 327/275 hp with a 4 speed car. Recently I bought my 7th Camaro, a 6th Generation 1SS 1LE at 67 years young and drove it off of the showroom floor in September. I have owned over 50 cars and this new Camaro is one helluva car for the money! It is a car that is very good at doing a lot of different things...I can drive it on public roads, around town or on a road trip or race it at the track, time trials or go to Costco. And it is especially good at all of those things. It is one car that can do it all!

Nice!! Red white and blue! Love the NSX - my neighbor has one, it's quite a balanced car. Not enough power for me, but great handling car.
You have me by a decade and a half, but similar story - my first new car was a Camaro - 1989 IROC-Z with the 5.0 / 5speed. Did autox and HPDE in that car for 9 years. Played with several Corvettes in the meantime, but also owned two first gen hot rods as well and even played in the NASA CMC racing series for awhile in a 1983. Currently I have two Camaros! 65 here. Just traded my 2012 red 2SS RS for a Shadow grey 2021 2SS 1LE on December 30th. Such a bad ass car! Here are some pics from yesterday at the dealer. The red camaro next to it is my old car I traded in
