Thanks for being the lab rat at our dealership...time for me to schedule my appointment, I suppose!

PS- Do you ever go to the Wednesday meetup of TBC?

No problem. Good luck with yours. I noticed an improvement for sure.

I went once to the small gathering at reload. I also went to the sports legends thing on a Wednesday but didn't see anyone show up. Plus with all the rain I have been leaving my car in the garage.

I had been wondering this and fully expected that a tinted windshield would improve the situation and it makes sense. The tint is acting as a barrier to the air from the windshield which is giving you a greater threshold before the condensation builds up.

I for one had this issue big time in my car until member SteveFR sent me a cut out of the panel in rubber baseboard material, he had an extra. It works but it bothers me to no end that this is still a problem on a modern vehicle. I've never had this problem in my previous 5 cars which includes a 5th gen.

I'll be stalking this thread until someone says they've actually had the issue successfully resolved by a dealer.

I guess I jinxed myself, a rock hit the windshield today and shattered the glass, so I guess I'll be getting a new one and having them do this work at the same time.

Actually I tried that and my dealer paid for it as a hopeful solution but it didn't help. After this TSB they sent a PO over to my tinter and covered my new windshield re tint. Llumar air blue 80 is what I had installed. Not sure if a darker tint would be different.

Last week was the first week that I did not see at least 10 cara at Sports Legends, but it was particularly stormy last week, even by our standards..haha.

Tomorrow is Test & Tune, Im excited to get my 6-banger on the track.

Good luck on getting your fogging windshield mitigated.

As far as storms I can't stand for my car to have one drop or rain or filth on it so I keep it put away in the bat cave until the weather is good to drive in. Send me a pm for the next sports legends meet.

Post your quick 6 bangers time slips on the TBC thread too. Enjoy!

Camaro Windshield Problem

To TEDJS. I got in touch with my dealer and showed him your article about the service bulletin that came out. He was shocked when he looked it up and saw it. He didn't know about it. I am bringing in my Camaro on Thursday for the fix. Thank you again for your info.
