When you guys installed this did you leave a little gap or did you go right to the roof of the car? I was thinking of following the mirror line but i dont want dirt or wind getting inside the gap!!

Left a gap, Top of the window i stopped. If ever wanted to take it off it would be much easier with fishing line that wont go near the paint. Can't tell there is a gap personally to be honest.

Ok so I installed this last night. I was concerned because the 3M tape seemed kind of thin but I cleaned the window with alcohol and then I used a 3M adhesion promoter that comes in a little white pouch and wiped down the mirror then I applied the piece. It stuck like cement.
You need to use the adhesion promoter for sure. I used a heat gun after just to make sure it molds to the contour of the mirror. Works perfect. ![]() ![]()

Really brings out the rear of the car and think it may be the least expensive hop up for the exterior.

Well,
I attempted to install and can verify at least for mine, the tape that came with it sucks - didn't hold. I'm going to purchase some VHB tape but upon researching, I discovered there's a bunch of different types of 3M tape options, which one would be best? Also, some are pricey, kind takes some of the value of the spoiler away, oh I did use the adhesion promoter maybe I had a bad batch of tape https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002JOVUO0..._t1_B00JR4D7AA https://www.amazon.com/3M-VHB-5952-A...BD40HC8TRRBK2K https://www.amazon.com/3M-38583-Exte...t_sims?ie=UTF8 |

you have to wipe the glass down with alcohol then use 3m adhesion promotor on the glass or on the tape. It sticks really well after that

Picked mine up about a week ago. Went with the gloss black and it looks great with the NGM on my 50th. It arrived well packaged on Weds. Set the spoiler out in the sun while I prepped the rear window. I simply used 91% rubbing alcohol to clean the upper part of the glass.
Mine came with 3 strips of 3M tape. Removed the first few inches and stuck it in place. Pulled the remaining tape off as I stuck the spoiler to the window. Fit was perfect. Left the car to sit in the sun for a about an hour before putting it back in the garage and it's stuck on there good and solid. Over the long weekend I was able to get the car out a couple of times and I'm happy to say that the spoiler has stayed in place well into the triple digit range (in Mexico of course). Checked that it was solid before putting the car away last night and all is good to go. |

Not sure where you guys ordered it from, mine came from a seller in Riverside CA.. it had 3 strips of 3M tape and it sticks like glue. A week passed and that thing isn't coming off anytime soon.
