I know, right...if I lost 2 people from my immediate family I wouldn't be talking to anyone let alone doing TV interviews and panhandling online. I have no doubt they want the other party to come forward for a civil "wrongful death" suite.

If you look at that video, the family lives in a huge expensive looking house with lots of fast cars in the driveway. Somehow, I don't think they are hurting for that $3k in funeral costs. The term "donation" has been stretched pretty thin in recent times due to the internet. Not to sound cold -- every death is a tragedy (with the few rare exceptions for truly evil people) but not everybody seeks money from strangers to offset the expenses. If you live in a cardboard box, sure. But if you have expensive cars, I'm sorry but that's called "equity." |
