Use your whole leg on the clutch with your foot only contacting the pedal. It's going to feel awkward for a while but once you get some muscle memory it's going to be way less stressful. Man, keeping your foot on the floor while trying to let the clutch out. No wonder you were stressed. Hey at least you don't have to learn heel toe. Talk about stressful LOL.
Enjoy bud!

Thanks, I have decided to basically re-learn how to drive it. That is how to start from a standstill.

There wasn't a lot of traffic, it was a nice day, and I haven't driven it in over a week. I tried skipping gears but was not a fan.

Manuals aren't for everyone.
This! I've been driving a manual for 20+ years and have no problem shifting.. but getting stuck in traffic for 30 mins plus is IRRITATING! Evn for an auto..

i have a auto beater for work, traffic days.. my SS is my toy so only weekend drives with very little traffic for me
