Yeah I would believe them over what Chevy has to say. I will keep monitoring and see where it goes.

Could you imagine what it was like ordering a car in the '60s or '70s?
Probably filled out a paper order and had to mail it to GM.
Then wait for a mailing back saying they accepted it.
And then waiting some more, with absolutely no idea of when the car would be in.
Everything was probably handled by mail.
Must've sucked.

Yes I can imagine it. The order was mailed. Updates, if memory serves, came to the dealer by teletype. And I think the updates were weekly.

No status codes. No daily checks. Dealer phone calls to corporate then were as responsive as now - a little bit of info but never too much.

Hey SSport I saw your picture of the onstar map and mine showed the exact same thing for a week maybe more depending on how long it actually sat there before I activated onstar. Well, this morning onstar shows it at the GM Detroit hamtramck assembly plant. I'm hoping this is good news... I guess a little movement is way better than no movement at all.

Good deal...mine shows in Livonia off of Plymouth Road somewhere. I will check again later.

I'd be willing to bet that your car is on a hauler and its there to pickup other cars or something like that

That looks like a rail yard outside of the Hamtramck plant. At least a lot of connections. Maybe you're at the final destination before finally shipping out on the train?

I can't track mine with the app anymore. It crashes when I do. I can get diagnostic info updates still though

After the car is built does it needs to be invoiced for dealer to activate onstar ?

My car was built like 2 days ago. So when i asked my dealer to create onstar account for me, he said it needs to be invoiced to create the account

Any suggestions?
And how long will it take to get invoiced after it is built?
