I read it was repaved in 2014. So times should be a tad faster then pre-pave.

I'm gonna say Randy will turn a 1:36.50 in the 350R

I don't think so. FastLaps usually has that information recorded and up-to-date. For instance they have the VIR pre and post 2014 re-pavement.

My bad, I was thinking they were talking about VIR from the Lightning Lap results. So you are right.

I'm not aware of any work at LS, but I supposed there could have been. You have to remember that those times can be entered by anyone (Look at the top one...obviously bogus). I'll wait to see Randy Pobst post a time for the Z06 there until I believe it is within 1 sec. of the 918. I'm not saying MotorTrend lied...I'm saying it could be a typo or someone else entered the data to mess with people.

Very wet lapped it in 1 second over a month in the future. That's real.

EDIT--Just went back to the site and that entry is now gone.

Just like the Ring website which is owned by an American. Always need to be sure sources are official.

Yeah!

The only MT track times I remember seeing for the Z06 where at Road Atlanta (driven by Randy Pobst). I suppose I could have missed it, but I haven't seen a magazine time for one at LS yet. The "driver" for that one is "Motor Trend" and every other one is "Motortrend." I know the one for the C6 Z06 is correct, so I'm guessing the one for the C7 Z06 is probably bogus.

some people want both though. Many people have purchased 1LE's and daily drive them and never see the track. There's a woman in my apartment complex that daily drives a Boss 302 to and from the base, its never seen a track a day in its life.

I think that if its an option, and you're the one writing the check, you should be able to get anything you want. I mean its all available...why not give me the option to have it included?

I had the opportunity to go for a ride in a GT 350 earlier today. Wow was it pretty impressive. I walked away wanting one really bad now. I still have to drive a Camaro yet too. :o

We need a 6th generation:
1LE to beat the GT350
Z28 to beat the GT350R
That should take care of those Shelbys

Is there any word on when the first GT350's will be delivered to customers? There are to be 137 for 2015 but none delivered. Meanwhile 2016 Mustangs are on dealer lots.

Since 2015 MY and 2016 MY GT350's are being built at the same time, I would expect deliveries to occur around the same timeframe. As of yesterday, my "R" is scheduled to be built in late October with delivery in November. My base GT350 order has not yet been picked up by Ford, so who knows when I'll see it. Likely in early 2016 at the soonest.

Just received word that I officially have a VIN for my GT350. Still waiting for the same on the GT350R, but I figure it could very well be after the new year before it happens.

You have a terrible life. I'm not sure how you do it. I don't think I could survive...
