I read it was repaved in 2014. So times should be a tad faster then pre-pave.

I'm gonna say Randy will turn a 1:36.50 in the 350R

I don't think so. FastLaps usually has that information recorded and up-to-date. For instance they have the VIR pre and post 2014 re-pavement.

My bad, I was thinking they were talking about VIR from the Lightning Lap results. So you are right. Last edited by 13vertss; 09-11-2015 at 04:38 PM. |

Very wet lapped it in 1 second over a month in the future. That's real. EDIT--Just went back to the site and that entry is now gone.

The only MT track times I remember seeing for the Z06 where at Road Atlanta (driven by Randy Pobst). I suppose I could have missed it, but I haven't seen a magazine time for one at LS yet. The "driver" for that one is "Motor Trend" and every other one is "Motortrend." I know the one for the C6 Z06 is correct, so I'm guessing the one for the C7 Z06 is probably bogus.

I think that if its an option, and you're the one writing the check, you should be able to get anything you want. I mean its all available...why not give me the option to have it included?

I had the opportunity to go for a ride in a GT 350 earlier today. Wow was it pretty impressive. I walked away wanting one really bad now. I still have to drive a Camaro yet too. :o

We need a 6th generation:
1LE to beat the GT350 Z28 to beat the GT350R That should take care of those Shelbys |

Is there any word on when the first GT350's will be delivered to customers? There are to be 137 for 2015 but none delivered. Meanwhile 2016 Mustangs are on dealer lots.

Since 2015 MY and 2016 MY GT350's are being built at the same time, I would expect deliveries to occur around the same timeframe. As of yesterday, my "R" is scheduled to be built in late October with delivery in November. My base GT350 order has not yet been picked up by Ford, so who knows when I'll see it. Likely in early 2016 at the soonest.

Just received word that I officially have a VIN for my GT350. Still waiting for the same on the GT350R, but I figure it could very well be after the new year before it happens.

You have a terrible life. I'm not sure how you do it. I don't think I could survive...
