Don't the HC series of cars have 2 powers to switch between. Perhaps he had his in the lower level and didn't realize it.

Possibly. Not going to win many races in the 500 hp setting.

Ive been thinking about trading in my Gen5 ZL1 to a Redeye or a Gen 6 ZL1.
I like the interior room of the Redeye. Its just been a while since Ive been in the Dodge family. Im getting the itch for something new.

My buddy has a Red eye and it really doesn’t handle that bad. Honestly if it’s never going to see a track it doesn’t really fall behind the zl1 in the handling. Now the power of that thing is great with lots to be had with way of porting the sc and bolt ons with tune.

The ZL1 does everything well: straight line, engine heat, twisties, weight transfer, stability, breaking, power to ground.etc... I think the ZL1 has a superior differential and suspension to handle a car that weighs approx. 3880lbs without a driver. The hellcat and red eye tip the scales at over 4200lbs + and may have great difficulty with suspension, heat, and tires on a road course...even in the straight line, after 4 pulls the hellcat/ redeye may start to pull timing...just my $.01.5 Finally, I think fit and Finish on the ZL1 is far superior. |
