That will be false. CarPlay is available on both 7 and 8 inch displays since launch and no information released has mentioned any change. '17s are rolling down the line right now.

Just a heads up everyone...

The chevy website will now let you Build and Price a 2017 MY Camaro. There are a few glitches, like you can't add the 50th Premium Floor Mats to a 50th Anniversary Package for some reason, etc. But in general it seems to be working for the most part.

Is not currently available on 2017 2SS.

It is only available on 2017 LT Models.
