Mine just passed 50,000km, which is about 31000 miles. I do drive it year round, underside is fine. But it's not really old enough for that to matter. Modern cars have all galvanized steel so until all the zinc is used up your car doesn't rust. In general I'd expect that to last at least 8-10 years but some cars are worse than others. We salt the crap out of our roads up here, the end result being that basically any car over 10 is totally worthless because people worry about rust.
No powertrain issues, but if I have one I'm getting it fixed under the remainder of the 5 year powertrain warranty and selling the car immediately. After that 5 years? I'm not sure I'll keep the car. GM doesn't seem very trustworthy these days, for now I enjoy driving the Camaro. |

I have returned from a 5000 mile round trip where by I surpased 68,000 total miles on my 2017 V6. Since November 2018, I have driven 20,000+ miles! Along my journey, I met a Z28 owner and drove alongside several SS owners where we pushed the speedometer. Great seeing other Camaros out there in the wild.

You may want to check the resale value of 2010 Camaros...they're not rusted and generally command 50% or more of their original price.
