Nothing more, nothing less. I've already gone on record saying I'd never drop a dime there, but I won't get online and discredit his builds either. I think both can be done without saying he scams everyone to get to where he's at today.
If John was so bad and scamming all the time, he would not stay in business. True, he has backers for his hypercar the F5 so he does not fund it all. They would not back him if he was a scammer. I am sure parts got moved around at HPE and when you do upgrades anywhere, even Ford Racing, they keep the parts. Ford Corporation has screwed me 3 times on 3 vehicles. I would let John work on my car before I would ever buy another Ford.

The simple workaround, if you want the parts, is to so stipulate in writing. If they are not returned, they owe the $.

At Ford Performance and many others, it stipulates you get nothing. It is called, "core charge".

I understand that's Ford's policy. In my experience, most shops don't have that policy for mods or upgrades. They do stipulate if you want the exchanged parts back, you must so stipulate.

Granted I don't see it coming close to a 9.65 even with the race gas tune and brake but it is worth noting.

Demonology dyno'd his at 776rwhp on the high octane tune. Gotta give credit to an almost 900hp car. Sucks it weights so much and is just a giant car to begin with.
Well, I wasn't insulting John's run. I was just saying, there was a 1.2 sec difference there. Meaning, Dodge hyped the hell out of this thing.

A guy over on the Hellcat forum ran a 9.972 @ 136.18 mph in a DA of over 500 I believe. I believe it was on the Race gas tune while using a footbrake and not the transbrake. In better air, I could see that guy getting close to the 9.65 time.
