I was joking too. I'm on my phone so the laughy face didn't get hit I guess.

And no I didn't drive it at all! Lol. All of us missed the prime good air season this Spring too. But it did give a chance to help my buddy with putting a Whipple on his 14 Coyote.

by the time I get back up there I will have a whipple on my car. the only thing I didnt really like about the area is the 3500' track elevation at Yellowstone dragstrip. add in a summertime day and 5000' air density is likely

Yes that definitely sucks but it's better than nothing.

It is pretty much just the splitters and wheels. I personally like that. While I know a lot of people like that the 1LE is differentiated from a regular SS, I don't care for the black wrap hood. I personally don't like black wheels, black accents etc

Looks like Ford made some updates to the GT350 (Non R)

https://www.roadandtrack.com/new-car...little-tweaks/

Looks like the tweaked the MRC, new tires, and revised aero. I wonder if the reason for that is the PP2 got to close to the same performance.

I have said that Ford doesn't care if the pp2 was close to stepping on 350's toes, but that was also when I thought for sure that the 350 was going to stop at model year 18 as it was basically a full carry over from previous model year.

That looks great and all but the article said the engine remains unchanged. I would want them to fix the oil consumption issues, and the granading engine issues first and foremost. Too many folks are having engines replaced. A few even had them replaced TWICE. I would hate to have paid that much money let alone ADM, think I had some special unicorn car only to have the engine replaced with a non-matching-VIN engine, only to THEN worry that it will blow up again. All the while having to check the oil every fill-up, and adding a quart every 1500 miles...

I would much rather they fix those issues than have grippier tires. I can put grippier tires on, but I can't make that engine more reliable...

Yeah it would be nice to see them address that.

EDIT, I did misread what was posted over there. It was 7% of the members on the site with 350s have had issues.

Yes, I was looking at that thread. The sample size is a bit small so I would take the 7% with a grain of salt. However, it's the only statistics we have because Ford won't tell anyone. These things happen, and I'm sure a bunch of folks don't care if their care buns a ton of oil if it performs the way a GT350 does (which is awesome from what I hear), or if the engine fails. But what happens when the warranty runs out and your engine goes? You better buy the extended warranty for sure!

But the unsettling part for me, is that the blown engines keep appearing regularly. If this were something that happened in the first model year or two and then stopped (i.e. Ford found and fixed the issue), I wouldn't care much. But, i sounds like it is still happening (one just happened on a 2018 MY). Personally, I hate that. I can accept growing pains on a new and pretty exotic engine, but fix the issue already!

They just need to be lowered and in a metallic or flashy color and they look good. Black is the only dark, none-metallic color outside those details that looks OK. The plain colors don't bode well on the car's aggressive front end design.

Did you change your oil yet? If so, it's not stock anymore...

Listen just add a mix of E85, maybe a tune, and then claim you are 100 stock! At that point you can keep your stock air pressures

I’ve been part of many forums over the years and have never seen so many very very low mileage cars with blown engines then what we see in the GT350. If this was happening to the zl1 or any other GM car, those guys would be bashing us relentlessly.

I was told Fords come with lifetime oil and you never need to change it.
