Installed Diode Dynamics smoked side markers. A great addition and the smoked is a great contrast off this beautiful color.

Took the car for a rip through the hills around Malibu, car handled great per usual.
Stopped at the top of Stunt Rd.
LT1 was in good company next to GT4

Installed Battery Tender pigtail after I got back from the dealer. Ready for winter lay-up which isn't too far away.

So I will say right off the bat that the instructions that come with them both have "Remove Tire" as step one for the front and the back. That said, I would think you could do the front by completely turning the tire but the back would be near impossible because there is just no clearance to work with. I was replacing the lug nuts already, so removing the tire wasn't a big deal. I purposely waited until I received everything I wanted to do in the mail so I could take the tires off once and be done.

I had an idea what these would take because I had seen this video...

Now that guy's video is not particularly well filmed for learning step by step, but it was good enough to give me an idea what I was in for and feel comfortable that I would be able to do it. Like him, it was my first time using a rivet gun as well (the front ones each use three rivets), but that was totally easy...easier than screws!

Here are some pictures. I ran out of time the day I worked on it and was not able to wash it so please excuse how dirty it currently is...

No exaggerating, they were very sore the next day (yesterday). I feel fine today, but it definitely took a toll! That install and the contortion you have to go through to install it is insane. And the left one was WAY WAY WAY worse than the right one. The difficulty of the left one made the right one feel like a picnic.

You hit the nail on the head (as is your wont), that's very close to what he actually drives. It's the Jekyll and Hyde personality that he (and another friend visiting at the same time) was most surprised by, a "normal" car that can turn into a monster and back at just a flick of the right foot and a mode switch. They thought if one had a muscle car, it's either uncomfortable, hard to drive and an untenable gas guzzler, or it can't have much power.

BTW he specifically commented on the visibility when I mentioned that some people find it difficult, and said this was absolutely normal, not worse than any other coupe or low riding car, and that he could see everything he needed. Coming from a guy who never saw a Camaro (and even called it Camry a few times, it was so unfamiliar to him) and drives on the wrong side of the road back home. If anything, this should settle the visibility "debate", but I digress...

Got it back from the wrap shop where they wrapped the hood, roof, and trunk lid in satin black and placed Xpel on the headlights, door cups, and gas door. Also wrapped the two small chrome pieces in my cut-down RS upper grille. Finally, I wrapped the trim around the speedometer and tach to eliminate that glare the silver trim would cause when the sun hit it just the wrong way.

Last night my wife reported she had an unwanted rider (a mouse). She said it ran across the dash and paused on top of the instrument binnacle to look at her. So today I pulled the cabin air filter to see if there was a nest in the usual place those little so-and-so's build one. After performing that task I would love to meet the GM engineer responsible for designing the glovebox so I could introduce my foot to their ass. I expect some pain changing a cabin air filter, but to require removal of two metal pins working through a 1/4" opening while setting the inboard one up to get lost in the center stack when it shoots free is beyond belief.

In any event I got it out and there was no sign of any rodent house (nor anywhere else). Even though the filter wasn't in bad shape I went ahead and replaced it because I am no glutton for punishment. I have no idea where Mousie went, if it even existed in the first place.
