On paper the PS4 is a more powerful console, it's mostly its graphics card that beats the XB1, and the type of memory it uses (GDDR5 for system memory versus XB1's DDR3)

Having said that, some 3rd party games (BF4 comes to mind) run at a higher resolution on the PS4, however you're probably not going to notice the difference, unless you have the systems side by side.

Realistically, in my opinion, it's going to be like the last gen console wars, PS3 was technically more powerful, but the differences were very minor. Not enough to warrant going with either one based on visuals alone.

If you like the XB1's controller and just want to play the latest games, I'd open up that Day One and have some fun.

Titanfall is one XB1 exclusive that is going to epic and it comes out in a month. Forza 5 and Deadrising 3 are also exclusives to the XB1 and both are very fun.

I'm having the most fun with Battlefield 4 & Assassin's Creed: Black Flag at the moment.

With first person shooters, racing games, and action games the difference between 30 fps and 60 fps is very noticeable. Play one of these games at 30 fps and then play it again at 60 fps and you'll wish all games was 60 fps. The resolution difference between the consoles isn't very noticeable even when side by side but the fps difference is.

As for Titanfall, SCEE manager Alex Moyet has stated it' will be on the PS4 as well which confirms the leaked info from the developer saying that Titanfall is a timed exclusive.

Honestly I thought Ryse was a good game. Are the controls repetitious, yes they are. But the graphics and story, though short, was entertaining enough to keep playing IMHO. I have played multiplayer and it is entertaining for a little while, but I honestly haven't played the multiplayer for awhile.

I still can't wait for TitanFall, Watch Dogs, Thief, and Dying Light though!

Thanks for the convincing guys. I'm going take that sicker out the box this weekend. As for the ps4 I will just play my brothers when ever he buys it.

All three of these will be games I will buy. Titan Fall I know I am getting on release day and the same with watch dogs but thief I might just pick up in May or so. Thief reminds me a lot of Dishonored (basically everything minus the powers) and I loved dishonored.

Just ordered my One off of Newegg and got Ghosts for free. Not really a game I wanted but hey it was free.

Also picked this up on my way home. Gotta get ready for titanfall and the one lol.

You're right, but Forza 5 runs at 60FPS and BF4 runs above 30fps (40-60), it varies, but I look at it like growing pains. These are the very first games to come out with the consoles, they'll improve as the developers get better at writing their games to run on these systems.
