Those tires can’t get here fast enough. This looks good.

Got It... Ya, I just figured there was a reason GM put the Supercharger on the LT4 and not the LT1. Maybe better stronger interals. etc...

LT4 has lower compression and better fueling from GM, not to mention stronger pistons and rods. Forced induction is definitely easier starting with the LT4, but that doesn’t stop most of us.

GM being gm, it only has stronger forged pistons but the same rods as the LT1 (still forged, though), presumably to save some cost. Not sure if the block itself is different, the lower compression ratio does help and there is more potential with the LT4, but as Josh said, power can still be had with the LT1, it's not like the LT4 is a miracle made with pixie dust

Good catch. For some reason I thought the rods were different in the LT4.

Had done long tube headers and high flow cats last summer...did meth injection kit to keep things cool, upgraded the heat exchanger, bigger cold air intake, high pressure fuel pump, upgraded injectors and race spark plugs (dont think new sparks were necessary tho) and of course a tune.

Went out for a Father's Day cruise with my youngest daughter (18) and let her drive it on some twisty roads and then home, where my wife was outside (who hasn't gotten to drive the car yet), that was fun! Then gave it a well needed bath...

The Camaro is such a much nicer looking car then then C8! You put them next to each other like that and to me there just is no comparison. The C8 is beautiful in it's on way, but it doesn't touch the the Camaro.

Finally got to pick it up from the body shop! It went in as a 2021, and came out as a 2021/18 "de-fresh." I was able to swap everything cosmetic except the '16-18 RS headlights, but I think the shop came up with a good fit for the refresh headlights in a 16-18 bumper and grille!

After pricing a '16-18 LT diffuser, I decided to stick with the 2021 diffuser for now - but if anyone in the northern California area has a stock LT/RS (quad tip) diffuser to get rid of, please message me.

You're telling me. I just sit in the garage and look at the wheels lol. I'm visiting my parents this week, I'm hoping by the time I get back the tires are in.

I have the extended studs and 5mm spacer for the front, just need the tires.
