Probably your height. Tall people can be a little intimidating.

Oh, wait.

I keep forgetting this is online. (Can’t actually “see” you.)

Oh well.

Red face No harm no foul, I hope

I removed my posts because I quite obviously do not belong on this thread.
Thank you for pointing that out.
I really had no idea and was a bit embarrassed to be honest.
The option codes for these cars can be bewildering to say the least (it is a 1LT by the way).
And of course it does have the "50th" steering wheel sticker, so it seemed like a proper fit.....
No matter, now I know.
Thanks again. Bye.

There are more than a few people who don’t have an H50 car that frequent this thread. All are welcome. As someone pointed out, a ton of excellent mod advice in this thread. Chevrolet wasn’t totally clear on how they use “Fifty”, so it is understandable that the Fifty steering wheel logo will give some the impression that every 2017 is a Fifty.

Just fwiw, this is what defines the H50 option. Much of it is cosmetic. There are no performance oriented details, so at the end of the day it’s like any other 2017 Camaro, but wearing slightly different clothes.

Welcome to Camaro6. Hopefully we’ll continue to see you in this thread, but if not, looking forward to seeing you in others.

No need to be embarrassed. If you didn't know, you just didn't know. You've learned something. If your willing...there is some great content in this huge thread if you sift through. Great people too, though I try not to, I can be a smartass.

Thanks, I greatly appreciate all of that, and no I genuinely did not know.
This will probably be my last posting in this thread.
However, you are likely to see me elsewhere on the forum, I am not planning to go away.

FYI, I am not at all new to Camaros, having borrowed, owned and rented a fair number of them.
GM has done a superb job with this vintage and I am very proud to own and drive one again.

I always learn new things from forums I belong to and am extremely grateful for them and for the fine people who contribute to them.
And I always try to offer something of value in return.
I have done my own vehicle maintenance, repairs and modifications literally for decades including exotics such as BMW, MBZ, Porsche, Jaguar, Audi, Corvette, two Camaro Z-28s, and more.
Before forums like this existed it was far more difficult to do, believe me.

So again, thank you.
Happy H50's...!

BTW, I can come off as a bit gruff or as a bit of a smartass myself, so please I beg you do not take offense.
It is never ever meant that way.
I did not take anyone's posts that way either.......

Like others have said we meant no offense and Martin beat me to it in terms of deeper explanation. I should’ve done that to start. And no need to be embarrassed. Crap happens.

Most welcome again on your awesome ride and a lot of us here do our own work as well.

See you around on the forums. Always welcome to stop by. Lots of good info in here.
