I didn't list the eLSD recalibration because that's now legal in F Street. But it's worth getting. Good point about the 19x12s and 305s (also fixed my typo on the tire size in my post above).

Right now the PAX difference between FS and CAM is about .9s per 60s which seems about right in general and fits the CAMC recipe Msquared mentioned. But then I'd bet Shotz' car would beat a FS car by double that given same driver/day.

I took her to an autox, it was cold and rainy and the venue (PPIR) was pretty far away, so I was fine leaving the Camaro for this weekend.
This car is really good. I came in 35th out of over 130, this was SCCA so lots of nat'l champs and very competitive ax'ers. It was my first time driving the car near its limits so I left a lot on the table... turbo vs V8 is a BIG difference... but if I could gain 1.5s on my driving and another 1.5s with tires/alignement, I'd be fighting for an overall win. And I'm not an amazing driver at all, just starting to be competent, lol. Then DST is only .007 more on PAX and you can do all the ST mods. The '24-'25 Ns have revised damping, new bushings, etc. and it was 1s faster on Throttle House's test track vs the '22-'23... and only .01 off both the Type-R and Type-S, so the new ENs might be a little faster than the '22-'23. If so, it may have surpassed the Twins as the top DS choice.

VIDEO from nationals! Day 2 i didn't feel like i had the best runs but it ended up being just enough. Need to work on not being afraid of making a shock change when i think its needed. 3run format its always rough deciding what needs to be done and if it really made a good change or not.

The fact you raw timed everyone in CAMC besides Shotz is really impressive. This is my 2nd season on MCS RR2 shocks and turning those dials to match the course and venue is definitely worth time. Just takes a while to get a feel for it. I was signed up for Nats but caught covid again the week before and had to cancel.

This is the one feature of any adjustable dampers (or any other adjustability of a vehicle) that makes them difficult: you can't possibly sort out settings in three runs. It takes lots of seat time with methodical testing and careful documentation to get a set of "if this then that" rules for setting changes. Once you have that, then you can confidently change a setting after runs 1 and 2 and know that it's likely to result in the desired improvement. Otherwise, it's a lot of educated guessing. You haven't had a chance to get that testing done this year, which makes your performance at Nats all the more impressive.*
It was really interesting this year how drivers' fortunes changed from Day 1 to Day 2. Different people had different problems on one day and not the other. I don't know anybody who was happy with their driving both days! Still, your time on Day 2 was one of the very fastest: Chad just came in and had his way with the West course. You really did a great job this year, and I'm really glad you prevailed! *I mean your driving performance, not the drumming...although the drum performance was sublime!

Yeah two way shocks take time to get to where you like them. I had Pedders then Ridetech on my old 5th gen. Friends with same setup and running the same lot surface we just used each others ideas and the mfg suggestion. But basically make big changes to see what it does then dial it in if needed. Little changes were sure hard for the old butt dyno to feel! |

You guys think two way shocks take time to get figured out for different surfaces? You should try a DSC controller with stock magride shocks lolololololol!
Lincoln is a tough place to make changes when you're trying to make something better as opposed to correcting something that's very clearly wrong. Very unique surface and few of us get to take enough runs in different combinations of conditions to put together a good book. Quote:
I was just hoping that he'd give me some tire heat with a minimum of OPR that we were not going to do anything about no matter how much collected.West course this year was one of the most enjoyable courses I can remember driving. Glad I was able to turn myself on to attack it, unlike the east course.

I'm going to get to borrow one this fall, so we may have more to discuss soon.
