Not really something for the Camaro, except for the part about it connecting to Android Auto. I upgraded both of my lines a few days ago and got an S22 and an S22+ Ultra. Figured if anyone is considering a new device hoping it just MIGHT fit on the wireless charger in the Camaro.... HA!!!
Even the S22 which is almost the size of the original iPhone, I was disappointed that even that device wouldn't fit. You'd think with the Camaro backseats being as worthless as they are that GM would be like, "Meh, screw the rear seat occupants, let's put a shelf back there that can wirelessly charge an iPad". Oh well, I'll have it sit in the passenger seat so that the Camaro can scream at me that my passenger isn't wearing a seatbelt. Top image is the S22+ Ultra, the bottom is the S22. Oh and for opinions on either phone, I don't see much difference in either compared to what they replaced, a Note 9 and an S10+. I'm sure the cameras are supposed to be better than what my pathetic pics demonstrate (took the S22 picture with the Ultra, and vice versa). |

We took the daughter out yesterday to Knoxville after the rain and man, 3-4-5 lanes filled almost solid on I-40 both directions, on a Sunday (thought to myself, the heck is this, California or what...? yeah, I know, interstate transport route and all, but still :/)

Another "not a real Camaro performance mod" but I hate how basic the Camaro remote looks so I "modded" it.
Oh and it almost has a "Legend of Zelda" crystal look to it. |

As spring gets closer (it hit 45* yesterday, just need some rain to help with all the salt on the roads now), I've started ordering a few items for my 2SS Convertible.
- Sto-n-sho front license plate bracket - GM windscreen - Mods4Cars 1-touch convertible control module - DeadBrands Designs Build Plaque I've got the SkipShift Eliminator sitting in my Amazon wish list, but figured I'd wait until I actually get a chance to drive it and see if that is an issue with my driving style first.

I only managed to keep it on the car for a couple of weeks. The base metal plate mount lowers front ground clearance and, no matter how careful I 've been, I scraped it going up a steep drive. I am going to remove it and use the ZL1 tow hook plate holder instead...

Fortunately I only scraped the base metal plate mount, not the splitter. I hate having to worry every time I go up a steep drive or I go over a speed bump, this is why I am going to remove it.

Finally got around to installing replacement rear valance reflectors with clear LED lit units I got off e-Bay. As has been reported getting to the screws for those things is difficult, but doable. https://www.ebay.com/itm/185115455239
I only wired up the sequential turn signals (that are yellow), the red running lights and clear reverse. I didn't do the brighter brake light connection as when I tested it, it also screwed with the other lights. So far I like the change. |
