Nice looking build Fraxum. Close to how I would build it if I were to get the LT1 although still not sure which tranny to get. I'm partial to the green and red exterior colors also. I'll probably end up going for the 2SS if I get one since I really want the heated/cooled seats, heated steering wheel and ambient lighting. IDK if its worth it though as I would prefer the all season tires and the smaller brakes would allow smaller wheels for the winter and I like the front a little more on them too.

I can add the seat ventilation to the Recaros and maybe add the heaters too. They are in the seat. A numbr of 1SS 1LEs are waiting for this too from gen5DIY. I hope it is possible. I think the heated steering wheel is possible, but alot of trouble to do.

I partially went with the Recaros for the possibility. The other reason it is the best Camaro front seats. My ZL1 sold me on them. All day comfortable and they hold you in place better when you want to play.

Hello! Thanks, yes, I hope so. How is your SS monster running? Is the new build sorted?

Maybe I read it wrong, but the 1ss 1le have already been doing this hack.

Well 1/2 of it, the seat ventilation. I will do that but I want it all. 5thgenDIY says the heaters will be next. At least one guy got it all working with the dash controls. Too complicated for me. Disappointed GM didn't just make this work and add a little bit to the price of the optional Recaros.

Here is the main thread:

Addding HVAC to Recaros

I don't know if I would want to put too extra money in it to do it after the fact. Although you may not really need the heat/cool as much with suede compared to leather. I take it the Recaro's don't have lumber support either like the regular seats?

Oh you mean the LT1 reminds you of Eeyore? If so that is an opinion.

We are talking like $200 for the kit. You do have to take the seats out and put the buttons and cables on the seat. But no Camaro has adjustable lumbar support. I have a bad back from a motorcycle accident and I do appreciate lumbar support. But the normal and Recaro Camaro seats are really good and are all day seats even for me.

I do like the cooled seats and the wife and the girls love the heater. $200 well spent I think.

Oh ok, gotcha. I only care about the cooling aspect so good enough for me lol.

Yeah, I remember you and your orange 1LE with the turbos. Even remember your sig picture with the profile of your orange 1LE, that sorta looked red HAHAHA.

I loved my 5th Gen, only mistake I made was modding it so much while it was still my only car. I would still have it I think if I had another car to daily drive. Great car, but no 6th Gen.
