One short video from yesterday.
Becky and I were at Mustang track event. (Mohawk track day) We were definitely out numbered, but we out-ran them good. Maybe they won't allow us to come back next year. ![]() About the video: There was a quite slow Bullitt Mustang that worked as rolling road block for everyone, so I was going slow, waiting for him to let me pass. Before we came to passing zone, I realized there was race prepped loud Roush Mustang on my rear bumper, so I let him go, and chased him. He couldn't shake me off for a whole lap and honestly, I had let off gas little bit in order to not hit him. 1.5 lap later, he let me pass him. Win: stock Camaro

I wasn't 10/10ths. First time in the car, and it wasn't mine. I'd say I was 8 or 9/10ths for sure. You won't regret taking your car there. It's an AMAZING track!

Rough weekend in the Camaro. f street here in Milwaukee is rough lol. but awesome competition. I think our region alone might kill the FS index for next year lol

My fastest run yesterday at the American Autocross Series event at Crows Landing, final prep for Lincoln
No official results yet, for sure 1st in class, maybe top-10 in PAX because of so many Prepared and Mod drivers here that are household names with multiple jackets in their closets https://youtu.be/i2UJ7VIkxXk

Cross post from the 1LE section.
A few laps from yesterday at PITT Race. How many people can say they were on track during an eclipse? The car was great, we had the track for the full day with only ~30 cars total! I was on track for ~3.5 hrs and the 1LE performed beautifully. Towards the end of the day the drivers side sway bar end link got loose (clockwise track) but that was the only issue and after tightening it back up it was all good. |

SO...had a very unique opportunity to run a full day on the West course with only 2 other cars in my session. Towards the end of the day we decided to try our luck running it backwards. The course has not been driven clockwise by cars more than a couple times since it was built (not designed for it). I cannot believe how fun it was. Some of the transitions were a little nuts given the strips were not really made to be hit in that direction but WOW, this was a kick in the pants. I was a little timid in the first lap but then let her rip. I have absolutely no idea what good lines look like out there but man it was turny and busy run.

I finally had a chance to test the race slicks (295/305) this past weekend.
video below is taken from the last event at the ORP event car was definitely faster with the race slicks than the NT01 (ran NT01 in the morning session) but didn't give confidence. I probably got a bad set of rear tires, oh well. I ended up improving my PB on a much warmer day. If the NT01s were as light as these race slicks, results would be different for sure. and some footage from ORP with friend's Mavic Pro

This weekend at Big Willow - 109 ambient temp - 150 track temp!
The Camaro had no signs of getting to hot in 25 minute sessions. Tires got slippery after a few sessions. Still had FUN!

Glam, I felt the same way. The slicks are still a better choice for me though because they are half the price of the NT01's and twice as cheap as cup2's. I'd run them even if a second or two slower.
Mike Dee. that car sounds so badass. I can't wait to get past the warranty phase!! Nice driving fellas.
