lost first round to chicago 4:2

since then they fired their coach mike keenan. now i'm just hoping that idiot isn't returning to the panthers since they send martin to the canadiens (which I'm very happy about and wish the Habs the best of luck with that dumbass).

So, here is what needs to happen tomorrow night...

Crosby needs to play like he did in 3 & 4.

Defense needs to f'n skate! They are just letting the Wings do whatever they want.

Malkin needs to just keep up what he's doin.

Fluery needs to stop sucking a$$. He's been letting so many soft goals through recently. Hopefully the break between games gave him the rest he needed to step it up tomorrow night.

I need this to go 7 games. GO PENS!

I think the trick to getting into hockey is to just go to some games. WAY better than watching on TV. Never could watch it on the tube until I went to some minor league and then Pens games. Now I enjoy it quite a bit.

ya. it is much better to watch in the rink, but I still love it on TV to. but i guess i pretty much have to, being from the north and all

I think you would love it if someone took the time to teach you the game. I call it "the thinking man's game" because there are no set plays like in football or baseball. It's dynamic and so instead of watching where the puck is, watch where the puck is going to go. Look for the open man and anticipate the pass.

When Ottawa was in the finals against Anaheim a few years ago, I bought playoff tickets just to experience what it's like for fans to go nuts in a confined space (if you call an arena that sits 21,000 confined). Unlike your typical Super Bowl, very few people are hammered out of there mind or doing stupid stuff to spoil the moment.

Above all, there is no euphoria like a playoff game. To be in a rink and see the winning goal go in during overtime is either an absolute downer and you go into immediate shock, or a high like you will never forget.

Game 7 will be like no other game this series... you will see two teams at the top of their game, no restraint, all bets are off... home ice will be neutralized, expect great things from the superstars and unbeatable goal tending.... Pens 2-1, in OT (assuming I don't have a heart attack before the end of the game, I'm sticking to it!)
