I wouldn't say "not one single person in the entire world has "ordered" a 2017 ZL1. Period." but would say "99% in the entire world hasn't "ordered" a 2017 ZL1. Period."

Unfortunately for common folk we do not have the privilege but I am sure some big named individuals could call up and get it ordered. I would find it hard to believe if someone like Earnhardt Jr or Leno said they wanted one they wouldn't let him. I can't find it now but I recall a celeb in the past getting their hands on new models before they were in production.

Nah. Don't believe the hype. There is not one production car made yet. Oct 10 is first day. Leno or BARRETT JACKSON haven't even made the list yet. Lol

White ZL1 I saw at the Fifty Event had some white wrap on it....sure it could have been made for CTF....but they could be creating a bank fior the rush of orders next week

Nope, I am not drinking the kool-aid. I was simply pointing out that high name individuals have the ability most do not. I really wish I could find the article but I believe it was Leno who has a car before production started. I need to Google-fu it more.

I personally am in no hurry, I will get to buy my ZL1 when I can. I wouldn't dare drive it in a Michigan winter anyways so it will be parked like my '12 is.

Why would anyone want a McRib sandwich ? I finally have lost interest in the ZL1 for awhile. I still think it will be awesome when they finally get built. Told my wife today watch out for January self control loss when the A10 is orderable.....will I survive...at least Zac is on the way. Hope you like the M6. The Dealer will be pushing tht to you in Sept.

Yup, I saw it however this isn't what I was thinking of. I could also be confusing it with this instance. For some reason I keep thinking it was either first 5th gen or C6 Z06. . . I really hate my poor memory.

Word was "brought". He was the first real person "outside GM" to drive one ... Didn't "buy one ".... Drive one. That's a huge diff lol

Bottom line is for all us MXO guys this car is still a Unicorn until we see a real production vehicle with a 10 speed MXO auto in it ... For the M6 guys. God Bless you all ...

Zack, you will be smiling way more about Jan or Feb. That A10 will be much more fun to drive then the Stick. The A8 is just awesome and after watching the A10 on the road course its gonna smoke the Stick at the strip and maybe on the Road Course, at least for a while. If I were 10 years younger and not retiring in a couple years I'd be right there with you. I'll probably just do the next best thing and add a Heartbeat or procharger this winter. Congrats and I'm smiling for you.

Thanks for the kind words. One thing is for sure, it will be a journey. I think I might test drive a 2016 Z06 to get a feel of what I will be in store for. It's essentially the same engine. Now it is a corvette vs. a ZL1 and granted in the link below he is driving a manual. But damn, that's 650 hp and 650 torque. Great view of the PVR too.
