Yes we will have sponsors just like the 1st two we are hoping to have a Friday night party at the resort a meet and greet w/ food and YES we will have a judged car show just like the 1st 2 Rally's.

As for the weekend it was tough the other option was early Jan 2015 and I was not really up to that due to the limited time frame and the weather. I figure May would be warmer than March.

We figured split it up a day at the parks with the family and a day at the show the family can hit the nice pool on Saturday

Agreed...I'm sure everyone can say yes now....and that answer will quickly change when they tell their wives or mothers they're going to a car show that weekend instead of spending time with them. I just don't want to see the organizers plan/sign/commit and then get screwed!!

Yeah mostly v-8's at the car shows, and they tend to look down on 6 bangers so I don't do to many car shows for that reason but this one sounds like it'll be a lot of fun

Well the Easter Rod run has been held Easter weekend for 10+ years with no issues.

The issue is the resort has two dates available either early Jan 2015 or May 2015 (Mothers Day weekend).

The thought process is the majority of folks will do car related stuff that weekend on Saturday, and then Sunday spend Mother's Day with moms and wives.

So we offer a solution what is better than spending a weekend at WDW the husbands/boyfriends-girlfriends get to do a car show on Saturday and either Friday or Sunday the family thing.

Again this is not set in stone I am just checking to see if it's going to be worth it to move forward.

I will say this now it's all going to depend on how many rooms we can book. If needed I WILL open it up to ALL GMs to fill rooms if we sign a contract and room turn out is low. We will need to reserve 100 rooms on Friday and Saturday to make this event happen.

The wife and I will be good for staying Friday and Saturday. Already told my mom, sorry Mom, your birthday will have to be postponed one week, cant miss this show. Yes I am literally pushing out my mothers birthday for this. I went to the first two and dont plan one missing one yet.
