I think I see the difference. I posted the gen2 splitter and skirts that came with the 19+. Your number is the earlier style.

I wouldn’t be surprised if GM doesn’t stock any of this stuff to support them after production ends. I believe I saw that the 16-18 dark taillights are no longer available

Washed and added a Layer of Kamkaze OverCoat and then topped it with Polish Angel Cosmic Spritz

Ahhh, Ya, ok that makes sense. I'll have to see if I can see a 19+ with them on. Actually I'm pretty sure that is what the neighbor has. I'll have to stop in by him.

Thanks...! It looks like they don't stick out quite as far as the older style. I like that. Do you have the new style front splitter on there too? If so can you post of pic of that?

Yes, it is a 1LE, so splitter was factory, I only added the skirts. This is before I installed the skirts

$hit happens right..! LOL

So I like the newer side skirts better, but I do like the older front splitter better. Not that I don't like the newer one, just like the older one better. It's not as "pointy". (If that is the right description) The older one seems to have smoother edges.

I prefer the original ZL1 style side skirts, they offer much more protection and don't have the "channel" in the rear that seems to direct airflow and rocks right onto the rockers.

Thinking about our potentially bleak Camaro future, I splurged on an ultra fancy scan tool (see here). It works pretty well with the car, plus it has a ton of special functions such as ABS bleeding and TPMS reset and many more. Coincidentally, I discovered that I had stored codes for weak key fob batteries, so I guess it may be time to replace them after 3.5 years.

Installed the BMR Suspension driveshaft safety loop (not really needed for my application but had exhaust off for the Borla ATAK exhaust install I figured why not, lol) and the BMR Suspension driveshaft chassis brace (it's pretty, haha) Waiting on the new torque to yield bolts to show up so I can do the rear cradle lockout and front rear cradle chassis brace installs

Did they come painted? How was the fit and quality? I've thought about purchasing a set from ebay since the cost of the skirts from C7 have skyrocketted since they first became available.

I bought the cheapest one I could find, and specifically got the "gloss black" ones.
1. They are not black. Not to the naked eye, and definitely not against a black car.
2. They had some of that anti-scuff film covering them which absolutely would not peel off. I ended up taking a sander to them because I had to paint them anyways.
3. Fitment I have nothing to compare to, but they aren't perfect. I got my passenger side on pretty tight with double sided tape across the top and screws underneath. Unfortunately on the driver side I didn't pull the car out and turn around in my garage to give myself more room to work and I have some gapping.

I painted mine with Krylon spray paint and they are still slightly lighter than the OEM black paint. But I clearly wasn't out for show quality from the start.
