Oh sorry I meant the automatic 4WD on the transfer case selector knob, before all the Colorados only had 2WD, 4WD High and 4WD Low and N. I like the Auto 4WD because it just basically turns on the 4WD when it needs it.

Yep, no auto 4wd on my Colorado. None of them have built in garage door openers either.

3 year lease on this one to see if I like them. See what's out then. So far I am happy with it.
Couple things though. It really likes to lug up hills, to the point where it bucks before it kicks down a gear. Have to get on the throttle to force it to kick down. Tuned for economy is my guess. Also, the hill speed control is overdone. The thing kicks down several gears and revs to 3,000. It just drop the shifter into M is disable that. So I'm not impressed with the way it goes up or down steeper grades

This is not the first time I have read that. I bet there will be an ECM update at some point to correct it.

Yah. OR!

I am almost positive that new vehicles have some sort of wussy break in tune built into them for the first 3000 miles. I've had 4 new vehicles since 2010 and it seemed to me like as soon as they hit 3000 they woke right up.

That is also a strong possibility. Let us know what happens when you get some more miles.

V6 Z71. Not soooo bad. These are steep hills in the city. Seems to do fine on the highway.

I all but proved it on my Silverado with my OBD2 device. Problem is a I have not found out anything about this online, you'd think tuners would see something like this, unless it is hardwired into the ecm.
