The 1SS 1LE is one of the best (if not THE absolute best) performance car bargains out there!!

2018 Blue 1LE

I picked mine up from Florida last week. Brought her back to Texas. Put on a front mask and some trakk tape for the drive back.
It was a '18 with 14k miles that was previously a lease. No mods done and i doubt it was tracked. Trip 1 was never reset and I was surprised to see an avg speed of 33mph. Must of been alot of stop/go traffic or a granny driver. I thought it was broken and tested trip2 which correctly showed my average of 74mph over 300 miles.
Love the car so far.

I took delivery Friday night, spent Saturday de-badging and getting windows tinted. I also blacked out my exhaust tips. Sunday was spent detailing and driving around. 😎

What is the process of blacking out the exhaust tips?

i scuffed up the stainless tips with 220 grit sandpaper so the paint would have something to hold on to. I taped the rear end up with plastic, i then wiped the exhaust down with acetone and carefully shot it with vht wheel paint. Try to do this out of the wind, etc... less mess and risk of over spray (goof off works great if you have over spray to cleanup).

I used the vht satin black wheel paint not exhaust paint cause its sheen is closest to the satin black and has enough heat resistance to hold up over time i have found.

As for shooting the tips, don't get to close and light pumps not long heavy sprays is best way to describe it in those tight quarters.

It looks like your front wheel gap is large. Did the dealer remove the yellow spring spacers from the front struts?
