Drove to school and back, clayed the front (bugs), rinse-less wash with Megs D114 and quick coating of Blackfire Crystal Seal. Then under the car cover for a good nights rest.

Went to see if there was any progress today and there was not. Think I will give it a week and see what's going on.

It poured all day, didn't get to do more than move it from the main bay into the paint booth. Very cranky about it.

I like the stripes you got. Different style, haven't seen the thin stripes before. Looks good!

The NoviStretch bra is great. Just be prepared to catch hate from some people out there about anything other than a clear bra touching your paint. I have both now but only because the price on the clear bra wasn't bad locally so I went ahead and did it. Still plan on using the NoviStretch for long drives, if only to save myself the hassle of washing the bugs off and getting them in the radiator.

Thanks! The hood spears are reminiscent of the hood spears on my first car, 1981 Z28.

I needed the novistretch bra for a particularly buggy trip that I have to take often in the evenings. My radiator is already packed. I ordered some PoorBoys Bug Squash but it is not here yet. Also, I have a rock quarry near me and my trip to work is loaded with rock trucks. Its a nightmare.

the bra seems pretty cool! The material stretches easily. Install is removing 8 torx head screws and replacing with 8 Phillips head snap screws.

Eh, I mean it won't be on the entire time and what better option is there to keep bugs off of the paint AND getting in the radiator? Appreciate the feedback!

Easy enough! I think the piece of mind of keeping bugs and stuff off the paint/radiator, as well as the simplicity of hosing this off instead of painstakingly washing every bug off the front is worth the $150. Did you buy yours direct?

I agree and that's why I got mine. Haters gonna hate though. Anyway, for me I ordered direct and shipping was quick. Also, though it doesn't say you can, I have tossed mine in the washing machine once with no issue so that appears to be a safe way to clean as well. I wouldn't use the dryer though.

Finally got my Lloyds mats. Ordered in mid July with the "SS" logo, but that apparently still hasn't been approved by GM, so finally caved & switched to the "Camaro" logo as Fall weather is coming already. Once I switched the order, they arrived the next week.

Good to know, thanks!

Also noticed your name and location. FSU @ USF on Saturday. After this past weekend, it should be a very good game. FSU will be fired up after last week's slaughter, and USF is averaging around 50 points/game and has surprised FSU before (2009). It will be, by no means, an easy rebound game for the 'noles. Go Bulls \m/

Installed StreetScene front splitters. Gave it a matte finish look using 7 layers of plasti-dip. My neck is still sore from the installation because two of the screws on one side didn't match with the factory holes. I was able to get one in, but the last one was just impossible. It's on there pretty strong, but looks like I am going to have to drill another hole just so that I can have all of the original screws back in place.
