The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric A/S don't seem to be too great in the rain now that I get the chance to try them out. anyone have suggestions on new tires if I stick to 245/40/20 ? I understand the Firehawks, G-Max, and Falken 510s are all reasonably good.



I am considering actually plunking down and buying 10" or 9.5" square setup and moving to summer tires on 275 or 285, similar tires I imagine or perhaps the Bridgestone S-04 or Yokohama v601. Not looking to track yet, so the Michelin PSS/PS4 and Conti ECs are out if they're not comparable to the aforementioned tires.

Not that bad. In your area summer is about mid May through end of Sept. here in Southwest FL it starts the end of April through late October. You've had great weather up there the last few days while its been hot down in this part of the state.

Just did my 1le with the exact setup! Stuff is incredible. Go light with the boost when you apply or can be a pain to remove.

Got around to installing the Hooker blackheart crush pipes in the ZL1

Overall the work was not super hard except you do have to drop the suitcase but using two jack stands makes it easier. Measuring took a long time, at least for me I wanted to be super sure I was right before wacking the pipes off.

I cant say there is any gains in sound or at least I can't tell and this may sound funny but it almost sound quieter off throttle but that may be me. My neighbor said it sounded better...

Anyway knowing the pipe was like that bugged me LOL...

I also changed out the tail lights for the clear, sourced them from a Camaro6 member. Very cool dude.

I also changed the ZL1 on the back to black...

I was able to spend a few hours detailing my ride on Saturday. Finally got around to uploading some pictures (including my new wind deflector).

I think it came out great, and wondering about improvements I can make.

Thinking about absolutely covering every square inch of my car in classy anime stickers. Or perhaps, completely plastering my car with some tasteful political bumper stickers so that everyone who sees my car knows exactly where I stand on every conceivable issue. Or perhaps, leave it as is (lame I know)

Looks pretty sharp as is . Instead of prius and cr-v style bumper stickers, I'd consider a distressed American flag decal, there are quite a few nice ones out there.
