"As I promised here comes the figures:
April 2016 Delivery (sales) Stats: Camaro April 2016 Deliveries (actual sales):7,457 8% (Pr Ye) " I think they are actually up a tick over last year's April... |

The 2016 is an awesome car for sure, but as far as I'm concerned, they can sit and rot on dealer lots at these prices. Sooner or later the rebates and incentives will come.

Maybe I am reading that wrong, the eye sight isn't what it used to be, but I thought I read that April 16 Camaro sales as being slightly higher than April 15. Regardless, what you said is true, only GM knows their plan and as long as they are happy, then I am. Time will tell I guess. |

I do believe that price is a limiting factor for some buyers. I also believe Chevrolet knew going into this program that a higher entry price would have an affect on sale volume. Entry price could be changed overnight with a new, lower trim level and/or incentives. If we see that, we'll know they were looking for higher volume. Edit: looks like they just got third shift going in April to keep up with demand.

But if inventory is intentionally kept low on the 6thGens (like I believe they stated was part of the "plan") we may not see this happen like it did with the 5thGen... |

I think it is interesting to see which markets have accepted the 6th generation Camaro and which markets have not. It certainly looks like that the mid west isn't a big fan of the 6th generation Camaro as most people it seems who talk about not seeing any are from that part of the country.
Here in Southern California they are all over the place already.... and they certainly look good. |

I'd like to see the line rate. ATS/CTS are selling VERRRRY badly. Add on Camaro volumes and you barely have 130,000 to 140,000 units per year. That's barely two shifts at 60 jph .

I'm new to the forum's been on here looking since the 6gen portion opened. And i got to say i've seen 4 6gen's on the streets...long story short i drove past our main chevy dealer in longview,tx that i hardly ever go by. They had atleast 15 lined up in a row and i went online to find they have a total of 21 sitting right now dont know if that's good or bad. Here's at link to their site http://peterscars.com/mobile/search/view/Type/New/

Guys, didn't read the whole thread but a mostly loaded Camaro 2SS 8A Coupe was about about $44,500 for me and I was able to get a mostly loaded premium Mustang GT Coupe for about $37k with discounts here in DFW. That's a big difference.
However I am making this post because I bought the Camaro because it's a better car besides maybe visibility. But for a lot of people that price difference is pushing them towards the Stang. It's a nice ride too. That said, I love the Camaro. Only 250 miles so far but loving it. |

Yeah, I felt like I'd be settling with the Mustang. Again, nice car but the 8-speed is WAY better than the 6-speed auto in the Mustang and the mag ride/suspension is worlds better than the Stang. Engine, pretty sure we don't need to discuss that besides say LT1. Nuff said.
