use a least the sonax for tires and then you can use rinseless on a weekly basis, never let "tire towels" touch the paint

use common sense for rinseless, if you use a towel and it gets super dirty on the first pass, you need a regular hose wash....

But, if you have a garage, it'd be worth a shot. Just get the car up to -near- freezing so you can dry it before it freezes.
you can do rinslesss in -25F if you want...JUST LIKE IN THE DIRECT SUN, you need to change to doing a panel at a time, wash AND dry, then move on....USE VERY HOT WATER TO ELIMINATE FREEZING. A rinsleless is max 15-20 min, nothing will freeze in that time...

Thanks, have seen the wheel clean thread you linked. I Seal my wheels time to time.

My question is cleaning the tires/wheel well. Now I use a tire/wheel well brush. Taking a rinseless micro to the tires will not clean the tires. Wheels yes tires no. I guess I could use left over rinseless and dip the brush and clean the tires. Then wipe tires with a towel rather than micro? Just trying to not get the hose out even for the tires or wheel wells.

My tires are washed/scrubbed with dawn every 3 months, and then wiped down with stoner's Tarminator. Once Clean, they get amour all extreme, then weekly with rinseless and a cheap mf towel.

I've read this whole thread and I figure I'll add my .02 about it all. I live in Michigan and fortunately have a heated garage so I've been doing this for a while now. As Adams suggested, I will mix my solution (currently using ONR) into a pump sprayer and soak the panel I'm about to wash. Then I'll use Glen's method of grabbing a fresh microfiber towel from my warm water solution and wipe the panel clean. I like to hit it with Poorboys Spray & Wipe as my drying agent (smells awesome) and the car is cleaner than ever.

For those concerned about a dirty car, I just washed my car with heavy levels of salt using the method I described above and there are no signs of scratching whatsoever. If your car is properly coated/sealed and you're soaking the panel with high lubricity washing agents then you'd be surprised how easily a dirty car can become clean without ever using a hose. I currently have my car coated with DP paint coating, stuff is fantastic.

Going to try rinseless. Need advise on good products to use.

I have already decided to use.
http://www.amazon.com/Optimum-NR2010...dp/B00D8DR0AO/

But not sure what the best towels were to use for washing and drying.

These look promising for washing

And for drying was thinking either
this

or this

Looks good, all of the links will work great, on the washing towels I use a slightly smaller towel, but that's just personal preference....ONR is great stuff, you dont need much.

By the way, you can tell when you've used too much rinseless in the water when it leaves the windows streaky and with residue…1.5 oz and a bucket of water is more than enuf

Rinseless is awesome! I did my first one on my Camaro today, been practicing on my SRX a few times, was done washing/drying in like 30 mins...sorry Glen, was going to call you before hand, just haven't had a chance, lol!...but I will get around to it one day. Glen's methods and material list are top notch. Duragloss rinseless is great stuff, as is their Aquawax while drying. Waffle weave towel is pretty cool!

Glen is correct by saying that Duragloss really "supercharges" the Blackfire CS after a rinseless, really pops!

I ordered some of the towels out of glens docs and I like them better than the adams double soft and regular microfiber towels. The short and long side make them really helpful.

I did nanoskin autoscrub kit then bf crystal today...Resisting the urge to taste the blackfire was real...that stuff smells amazing. Got duragloss rinseless for the future. Also Glen I followed your recommendation for the wheel cleaner/ silica seal. Holy crap what an easy amazing process. The results are amazing..that sonax stuff should be called sonASS because it smells seriously awful XD

I also live in Florida on the coast with the salt sand and I've been using rinseles for 5 years and I never scratch the car… Read the docs and try it before you make an opinion.
