Dealer said mine was delivered yesterday and will be ready for me to pick up early Monday afternoon (tomorrow). Won't get much sleep tonight.

I'm still in qc hold. I talked to the DBC the other day and they don't have a clue when my car will be released from qc hold. I'm thinking it might be due to that oil pan tsb I saw on this forum from Acdelco I read about the other day. My car was built over a month ago. So frustrating

Maxair is your Camaro in Charlotte, MI like mine? When was your Camaro built? Is it a SS model like mine? Just trying to see if our builds are similar or not.

Congrats Scotty on a fellow 1/25 getting their Camaro.

Mine was built around 1/18. White 2SS, Auto, NPP, MRC, Red interior, Gray split spoke wheels.

Here is the last place the car showed to be. It sat in the same spot for close to a month and finally moved to this spot back on Friday.

Gotcha so our cars were built around the same date mine was 01/20. We both have SS's. I'm just trying to determine if our qc hold is due to the oil pump/pan issue I read about. It seems since we both have SS's and both cars were built around the same date it sounds probable that might be the issue. The only difference is my car is at Charlotte, MI and your Camaro appears to be at Lansing, Mi. Maybe your car got fixed and is awaiting for train transport or vice versa.

Mine was built around then, but it's a 2LT V6, and I've had it a over week. Three data points isn't conclusive, but..

I know everyone says it, but you're going to love your cars. I've had it 10 days now and the "new" hasn't worn off yet.

My V6 is thrilling. Your V8s are going to be awesome.

Yeah most of the V6's from our club have received their cars so I figured our qc hold was due to the V8's oil pan/filter bulletin. I'm about to give up and go buy something else especially if nothing has changed by the end of this month.

Congrats on your car. glad you love it and have no issues.

I think the location where it's sitting is considered Charlotte, MI. I have a text message alert set up to send me the location of it at 7am and each day it comes back with "near Guinea Rd, Charlotte, MI"...which is where it sat for the longest and or "near 7872 Davis Hwy, Charlotte, MI"...the spot it got moved to on Friday.

Picked it up late Monday. Drove the snot out of it today. Live is now good. New plate will read "NIC2BME". Good luck to all you folks who haven't received yours yet. When it does get here, you'll be over the moon, just like me. Even my wife is excited. Excited wife, exciting life.

mxair2001 Any update on your camaro?

Mine was released from qc hold on the 2r3rd according to the DBC and moved to a service center. Rep. wouldn't tell me where it was in Michigan and stated nothing is wrong with it but obviously she is a horrible liar and thinks I'm retarded. I'm guessing whatever was wrong with the car is now getting fixed and then it has to go back to Charlotte, Mi for a train ride the rep told me. She had no idea of how long this process might take. Some positive movement but if history is any indication it could be another month before I receive my Camaro. Only took 35 days to get through quality control hold. Great job Chevy your quality control process is still a joke in my book.

My car left Charlotte and drove down the road to Livonia, MI...where it has been sitting since Monday.

Dealer doesnt have a clue what's going on with it, other than it being in QC of course. He did said he called the GM line for dealers and had it put on the "hot" list for shipping. Apparently it didnt do much good though.

Because of this mess it looks like I will lose out on my private offer since I wont have the car by the 29th. It was annoying clicking around on the website to get it in the first place.

Our cars got sent to Roush Industries for installation of the NPP or MRC. The Regional rep didn't know which part or both are installed there. Roush Industries has a few locations in Livonia and then the car gets sent back to Charlotte for train transportation. So at least our cars are out of qc hold.

So after asking Becky it seems like the Chevy Regional Rep is still lying about a qc issue since that is why it really went to Livonia is to get the qc issue fixed or checked. I wish Chevy could act like I'm not an uninformed idiot. The DBC also gave me the same song and dance bs. It must be in their mission statement to deflect and lie to their customers as much as possible.

I am in the same boat as you guys, been at 3800 for 5 weeks. I see there is this QC issue, but this is very frustrating. I was expecting it to be ready for me when I returned from deployment. But that wont happen. Any new information you guy have please post. I appreciate the updates.
