If you all read my post above It will explain that in fact there were more bombs. The Army Ranger whom my wife is close friends with helped the Swat team and police find them. He was the only one with his type experience and training that was immediately available. The news NEVER reports the full stories or ever tells the truth.

I'm sure none of the sensationalist media outlets would ever want to be the first with a headline like, "MORE BOMBS DISCOVERED IN BOSTON AREA, CITY GRIPPED BY FEAR."

I feel pretty dumb and guilty by thinking this was a natural causes thing at first. The very first film clips on TV looked like maybe a transformer explosion under a side walk grate, some mild injuries and did not depict anything except a moderately confined boom and smoke.

Checking the still pictures today with all the graphic injuries is pretty disturbing...along with finding out about the BB's and ball bearings.

Law enforcement agencies typically tell news groups not to make statements regarding certain aspects of an ongoing investigation. I'm sure due to the size and suspected nature of this event, all the details will be very slow in coming out.

If you read what was stated above, it says that the bomb squad was taking care of ALL objects that may have even seemed like they were bombs. So it's not confirmed that there really even were other bombs. Right now it's only confirmed that there were two bombs and those were the ones that exploded.

Considering the Army Ranger seen them with his own eyes standing beside the PD and Swat team, Id be more inclined to believe a decorated soldier and friend then I would ANY news outlet.

BOSTON (AP) — Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick says no unexploded bombs were found at the Boston Marathon. He says the only explosives were the ones that went off Monday.

Three people were killed, including an 8-year-old boy, by two explosions just seconds apart near the finish line.

Police commissioner Ed Davis says 176 victims came to hospitals around Boston, and 17 of those are in critical condition.

Special Agent in Charge Richard DesLauriers says at a news conference there are no known additional threats.

Okay, that's fine.. but it has been said that they didn't open the bags that these were in, they said they weren't going to risk it and took care of it.

NO OTHER DEVICES FOUND
Dispelling earlier reports of as many as seven devices being found around Boston, Gene Marquez, assistant special agent in charge for the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, said authorities had determined that the only bombs deployed in the attack were the two that detonated shortly before 3 p.m. EDT (1900 GMT) on Monday.
Any unexploded device might have provided a clearer picture of what materials were used and how the bomb was assembled, furnishing leads in the case.

Well at the time I posted that the news was reporting that several other explosive devices were found, up to 5 of them, now police are saying there were no other devices. And the person of interest is co-operating with them and approved them searching his apartment.
So what are you to believe?
