My 11 y/o grandson has been attending the Nebraska football camps for the past 2 years. Let me tell you, anybody that did anything to him like this, knew about it, or covered it up would have 20 minutes to live. That is how far it is from my house to the stadium.
Meanwhile the Huskers are in a no-win situation in PA. this Saturday, and if McQurey is still on the sidelines, I think we walk off in protest.
PS: Spanier was our Chancellor in the early ninties and was only worried about getting to the top of the ladder as fast as he could, that and his hair!

Not discounting Poz cause I respect him. But the time when he was at the school Sandusky was already retired and had been banned from one of the football facilities and from brining children from Second Mile.

I'm sure he was "everywhere" he lives in State College. The line between "campus" and "town" is very blurred.

Blind faith. How about on practice field, weight room, meeting rooms during football meetings? Yeah, he was banned.

How about you apply your rage at the situation towards the local authorities and the CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES who knew long before Joe Pa. They could have stopped this almost 15 years ago but they didn't. The mother of the first known victim also declined to press charges.

How is Joe more at fault than those charged with protecting society?

Right something, I hate how people are commenting on this issue and have not read all 23 pages of the grand jury report. They are going off what the media is saying but the media is leaving out many timeline factors and other events that should have stopped this longggggggggggg before 2002 situation happened. I mean hell the High School banned this guy in once they found out what was happening out there grounds and that was in 2006/2007. So to those who think after 2002 any more things happened on PSU campus you are wrong. The last victim was at sandusky home and at the high school.

Again, please cite the sources of these so called facts?

I don't see anywhere in the Grand Jury report that he was in those places. I only see one player saying he was around. And he just says "everywhere" he doesn't say exactly where those places are. So please focus your rage else where

and it's not blind faith. I AM NOT A PSU ALUMNUS OR STUDENT

No I am not "trolling"...I'm "moderating", its what a moderator does, and while we can't always read each and every post, we do the best we can.

In quickly going through this thread, I felt compelled to share some of my thoughts...it's what a forum is for...

Didn't say he was more at fault....................Just at fault. He failed those children as did others. He deserves what he gets.

He is not more at fault, but he is Joe Paterno, so he gets all the attention. It has been stated by former players that many times after 2002 Sandusky has been at the football facilities and football practice although I have not personally heard this. Espn has reported it. After knowing what Joe knows, how in the world does he allow this? That is outrageous and is at the heart of the outrage of people.

You stated the same thing that I did, and I was called a troll. I was pointing that fact out to the previous poster.

AGAIN after 2002 SANDUSKY never brought another child onto the campus, his last victim happened in 2006/2007 read pages 2-4, all those acts occured inSANUSKY'S basement and once the child broke communications sandusky would stalk him at his school and have him removed forom classes. AGAIN this didn't happen on PSU campus so no one would have knowledge of that.

Wonder if anyone has thought to freeze Sandusky assets and pension to pay for the lifetime of consoling these kids will need.
