Agreed. The Camaro wouldn't be where it is today without Transformers.

I'm not a huge transformers fan but I don't understand why people dislike the association with the Camaro so much. The only people that should really be upset are the ones who Rally Yellow is their favorite color. The only fifth gen I ever sat in was a TF3 edition that was sitting in Turner Field in Atlanta. The car just looked so well put together it grabbed me enough to make me sit in it, something I vowed I wouldn't do until I got mine.

True that. Of all the stupid stuff for people to get up in arms over. Who cares what kind of car Bumblebee was? I liked the movies, I like the car. There has been way too much animosity in this thread, and over really stupid stuff.

I once read an article that Blamed, Burt Reynolds and Knight rider that cause the demise of the Trans Am by making it into too much of a gimmick. Was a funny article. Will the Camaro get the same demise with Transformers? I dont think so.

August 10, 2006 GM announced it would produce the Camaro. July 3, 2007 Transformers was released. Yes it was still in concept form, but GM knew they would build it long before the public saw it in transformers, so again, no they did not build it because of the movie hype. They built it because it was voted best it show at the Detroit Auto Show when it was first displayed on January 6th. That and public outcry for them to build it just like the concept.

Also not sure ho this will focus on the Civil war on Cybertron if it takes place 4 years after TF3. It may have cut scenes etc. similar to the fallen but the main intent of the film is to take place 4 years later.
I think the possibility of seeing the 6th Gen in the movie is pretty good.
