Just an update on that windshield ceramic coat, today was the first time it has rained since I applied it. Don't waist your money. RainX stuff will do a better job. The water beads like it says but when driving over 35 mph, it isn't really any better than when I used rainx. Maybe my expectations were to high. I tried to take a pic this morning but it was to dark and my phone wouldn't focus on the windshield.

Very nice!
Clear coat worked fine. Started with a very light coat, just to see if anything happened. Then went with an additional coat. No running. Just thought I wanted some protection with it in the engine bay.

Recalibration on MRC

Has anyone heard of a bulletin for the recalibration of the MRC. I was at a car show, talking to the people who owned corvettes and they were telling me that there is a bulletin, for the vettes, for a recalibration of the MRC. Trying to see if this also applies to camaros.

I did a search for this guy on the Camaro Fifty FB site and could not find the details... do you have a link? How much did he charge?

The cost was $65 and he customizes each one. He does other than 50th as well. I'll PM you the information, don't want to butting any personal information here, although he welcomes referrals. Anyone else interested can PM me as well and i will hook you up.

Brake Code for the 50th Annic RS model with 20 inch wheels

Whenever I go to websites dealing with our brakes and calipers they indicate the brakes are the same for all RS/LT models with a code of JL9

When I look at the PartID codes on the sticker in the back of my car I see J55, J6L and J71. Anyone know which is the brake identifier and do we have a different setup than standard RS models?

She's used to driving a car that hooks, her first two runs were throw a ways as she learned how to launch it. If she takes it to the track again, it will have a drag radial on it, so she can mash the gas. lol

The car is an A8.
Approximatly a year and half later, I took the 50th to the track for the second time and I was able to beat my wifes previous time, lol.

Still running on the stock tires with 19k miles on them. It was about 82* at the time of the run. I wil probably be taking it to the track more, now that my wife sold her Garage King and bought a 2018 ZL1. (She allowed me to trade in the 5th gen, so the 50th is now mine by default, lol)

I haven’t had a chance to look at this yet. I know the RS Rear is not the same as the SS Rear. Fronts are the same on RS and SS if I remember correctly.

Didn't like the non-stitched front seam on the shifter boot so I added some stitching to that. Also, since I had the console apart I got rid of the phone charger on the back of the console and installed the storage bin.

I'd like to do that to the phone charger. The wife's 1SS has the storage bin and it's much more practical.
