We start our monthly First Saturday’s Car Shows this weekend. So excited. They’re along the lines of a cars and coffe event but there are usually a couple hundred cars. No prizes, just show and chat.

Just installed the front GM painted splash guards. I decided to post this DIY here because I had a hard time finding one for the front install. I'm glad I found it because I didn't realize I would need a rivet gun for the job. The only thing I would add to the pictures below is that the instructions recommend using a 13/64 drill bit. So once the bracket is on, use the 3 pre-drilled holes and drill through the Wheel Well liner. This will allow the rivets to go through the liner and properly seat on the bracket. Enjoy!

does anybody have any experience with getting the "shudder" problem fixed under warranty with your car having mods/tune?

I drop her off Monday, after work. I also have a clunking noise in the front end that only seems to happen at low speeds when applying the breaks. They are going to look into that as well.

Does anyone know if the clear protective film on the lower rocker panels are covered under warranty? On the passenger side, it is starting to peel off.

That’s honestly going to be a case by case or dealer by dealer basis. Some are mod friendly. Some aren’t.

I've heard of them, I seen the thread. They're cheaper than DD. Just hope the quality and customer service is up to par.

DDs customer service is not equaled right now.

Only reason I went for these was because of the number of people raving about them and their customer service. Quality was a 8 out of 10 as there was a nick or something on the side. A little wet sanding fixed it right up.

I bought these too and really like them. The little nick on the side I believe is from the mold during manufacturing. I contacted the company about it and they confirmed that most of them have the same little nick in exactly the same spot. I only noticed it on the rears. When installed, you really wouldn't even know it's there. Customer service seemed top notch, plus you can't complain about the cost. What was your sandpaper grit?

I did the JW Motorsports LEDs last weekend as well. I think they match the Nightfall Gray really well and look way better than stock when lit.
