My employer provided work truck is a Ford. I leave it parked out front so people will realize there is nothing worth stealing here.

I don't own a ZL1 anymore but this is a major problem with TRX owners. I initially had Ravelco installed after my purchase (it's still there) but I now have IGLA and like that system much better. Do some searches on Ram TRX stolen or IGLA. A TRX owner recently had his track stolen WITH Ravelco and has camera footage of them driving away. The benefits of IGLA is they can't see it, they can't delete your key or create a new one and you set your own PIN code using steering wheel buttons or carry a small key fob to start your car.

Horn Disabled after attempted theft.
Folks, they tried to steal my 2021 Convertible ZL1 2 nights ago. Something must have scared them off. They cut the top and somehow disabled my horn in record time. I cant even figure out where its disabled. The fuse is good and i hear it clicking near the fuse box when i have my son hit the horn. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'd like to see car thieves get the ultimate penalty for their antics.

![]() Now most importantly make sure you have some good anti-theft devices on the car, and I am not talking about the factory alarm, immobilizer or OnStar. None of these will prevent your car from being stolen. There are many options out there and I would review the threads on this forum that discuss the various options. My personal recommendation is to take a look IGLA, but again there are other options that can be effective. Though I would recommend not going down the pull/replace fuse/relay route, there thieves that know about these and are ready to deal with these. The above is important as depending on where they tried to steal it from, there is a very high probability there are going to try to steal it again. As for the clicking, it sounds like a relay engaging, which is probably the horn relay. Though I am not sure if this is a separate relay as isn't listed on the diagram I looked at. The only other thing to do is get a multimeter and see if you can check for continuity and/or voltage going to the horn as needed, and try to locate where the connection is broken. |

What about these OBD port lockouts? One
company claims OBD port will be damaged if thieves try to remove it. Damaged port, but still keep car. |
