I would dispute the charge as suggested.
I would try to reuse the parts with some cleaning up. Even the pads might be OK.
No, it will not be perfect.

I'm going to jump on the bandwagon of disputing through your credit card company. I hate that this happened to you, but I honestly don't think you'd have much luck in court. Too much time and mileage passed between when you had the work done and when the incident occurred. There's no way to know if you subjected the car to any unreasonable driving conditions during that time. There's no way to know if you attempted any maintenance or modifications to the brakes following their work. We believe you, but I think they could introduce enough reasonable doubt to avoid culpability. Get any money back you can and just chalk it up as a bad experience. Totally sucks man. I'm sorry.

So I got the car back. It is driving like crap right now. There is still a noticeable shudder when braking and now there is also a loud hum/drone sound coming from the right front tire when doing more than 40 MPH.. It is very omniscient when on the highway. I am very disapointed that a performance shop like this could let a car leave his shop in this condition and call it 'okay'. He was working on about 4 - 5 other cars, mostly classic.. ..other customers don't seem to have a problem with him. It feels like he is singling me out.

Now you have to evaluate whether something got bent when only one bolt was securing the caliper. Caliper itself could be damaged, or bracket holding the caliper. If you had put it back on yourself, you would probably have a good idea. You might be able to see by inspecting with the wheel off, or by looking at the face of the rotor to see if the pads are contacting at an angle.
The wheel might be bent (kinda doubt that), or might need a rebalance.
This all sucks!

Today I purchased

- 1 New 6 Piston 1LE Front Right Brake Caliper
- Front Caliper Piston, Seal and Boot kit (sold as a set)
- 2 New 1LE Rotors (sold in sets and couldn't buy them individually
- OEM Front Brake Pads for a 1LE (sold as a set)
- 2 new front wheel hubs (replacing them both)
- 1 new wheel

When the caliper arrives, I have to tear it down, then have it ceracoated which will take between 2 weeks and a month to have it done by the same shop and the same color, then rebuilt using new pistons/seals/boots... ...and reinstalled.

So I am looking at sometime mid-January before my car is back to normal. Right now I still have to drive it so I'm in the right lane hobbling along at 5 - 10 MPH under the limit and avoiding freeway driving.

I have not changed rotors on my camaro, but typically there is a bracket that mounts to the spindle, and then the calipers mount to the bracket. This bracket usually must come off to change a rotor.
If this setup is present on our cars, then I would be sure to also have that bracket on hand. The problems you describe sound like something got bent.
I'm sure there are others here who have had these brakes apart. So far, I've only swapped pads.

I hope you're not thinking of taking it back to that shop for the painting, that's just absurd. unless they agree to pay for the parts you just listed and try to make it right, the paint match isn't worth the hassle IMO. Just stick with the OEM color or get it done somewhere else. Think about just how bad it will be to interact with them again especially if they're not making it right for you... Dispute the charge, cut your losses and move on.

There is no bracket for the 4 or 6 piston brembos. They are a fixed caliper. They bolt directly to the car.

The ceracoating was done at a gun shop. I should have clarified, what I meant was have it done by the same shop who originally did the ceracoating to have the colors matched...this was a different shop however. It's not going back to the mechanic who fubar'd my brakes.

Rotors can be purchased separately.

So I guess I learned something new from this? The 6th gens don't use TTY bolts like the 5th gen? Also those bolts don't have that dry yellow thread locker on the bolt already?

It does use tty bolts. OP however provided new bolts. When I purchased new bolts for my 4 piston SS brakes the bolts came with dry blue thread locker on them. I believe SS 1le bolts have red thread locker on them.

Where do you see caliper bolts spec'd as TTY? My 2018 service manual says they're reusable, although it's true that it doesn't explicitly list J6H and J6M applications in the torque specs table for some reason (but then neither does it list them with anywhere else in the table, GM may have forgotten to update the application list for the 1LE and ZL1).
