Does this make sense?

The dealership the order is through is not known by me and my peers to be shady. They are pretty straight forward and no BS.
Yes it is on constraint. It's limited availability right now so your dealer has to get an allocation for the color to order it.

As far as I can tell, the allocation system is more about accommodating dealer greed than fulfilling customers. I'm sure there are some merits to the system, it's just hard to see them as a potential customer.

Thanks! Looks like Riptide was lifted from constraint. Hopefully, next week dealers will get a 2SS allocation.

He did state ALL confirmed orders (2000-3000) will be built in full as ordered. Not sure I believe it fully but gives me hope
Oops - so much for hope! According to GM Authority, which is often right, GM has run out of Shock and Steel door spears for the CEs and will be replacing them with NOTHING - that’s right, only early CEs will have ANY type of door spears. In addition, there are new restrictions on what lug nuts and wheel caps will be used with certain wheels.

What expected parts for the ‘24s will be dropped next, as Chevy empties its parts shelves?

lol, they are not going to build CEs without any sort of door spear.

Hopefully not - just another example of how incomplete and inaccurate information gets out. On the other hand, if the attachment points for the spear are hidden and they serve no function other than looking pretty… nevermind!

They are being built complete. And my guess from GM Authority’s comments is the would build them wo the door spears and yard hold them for constraint until a solution was provided. But no worries. The fix is in place

How does this chart of constraints work? Is that the available quantity left before they are out and then on hard constraint? The ZL1 non track pack has been on the constraint list since you started posting these. Are they actually on a constraint for something, or are they just on the list every week because there is so few of them up for grabs?
