Crazy, I thought they were blocked from doing business in Michigan.

Carvana Stock 377.00 a share, 1 year ago , today close price7.33 a share. Car vending machines, look cool( there's one in my area) that's a lot to spend out of the advertisement budget . Purchase the biggest wholesale houses and take on to much inventory at the top of the wholesale prices, and much more.

Got an email from carvanna a few days ago. I assume it's because I checked with them in 2021 for fun to see what they would offer me for my car and perhaps they have interest in these cars again. My car is a low mileage 2016 1SS and at the time the offer was an impressive $34K but I wasn't really wanting to sell, although tempting lol. After that, the offers went down.

Now the offer was back up to over $32K. I didn't even inquire for an offer... They just emailed me one.

I looked on their site just now, and low mileage 2016 SS are going for 35 to 40K depending on options. Mine being a 1SS it's on the mid to lower end of that, but it's still only a few grand less than I paid for it back then. Had I waited until later in 2016 to buy when these things had huge rebates I could get more for it than I had paid new.

Between the 2024 being the final year for this gen (and possibly last ICE) and inventory so low, value seems to be climbing back up.

Gee, I wonder how they knew it was still low miles two years later...lol...

(I have a pretty good idea how, though)...lol
