I have had a 3LT v6 manual order in since October 2023... shows no sign of ever being accepted or built. Any thoughts?

I should state I first cancelled the order at the original dealer where I ordered after a year of waiting. I am seeing 3LT v6 cars showing up locally... but not quite what I wanted. Do I take one of those or keep waiting it out?

My current 2020 Camaro has just 9400 km's on it. A V6 RS Convertible, A10 , white . It is in perfect shape, stored in the winter. It has all the options, interior LED lighting, Bose radio , heads up display etc.. I planned to trade it in on my new SS that is coming. If your interested drop me a note. It has a 6 yr bumper to bumper GM warranty on it that is transferable I believe. I baby my cars.

Buying a Camaro in Canada is not easy, not many allocations come our way. With production shutting down now Jan of 2024 don't think it is going to get any easier to buy a new one. Hard to tell you what to do regarding ordering one, lot of people getting in line.
Thanks I appreciate that but I don't need a convertible!

I am so torn, I want to wait and get exactly what I wanted... but at the same time I've waited over a year.

The car that came in the only difference from my order is the rims, white seats instead of red, and it has a sunroof, which I did not prefer. Other than that it is exact.

Is a camaro in hand better than two in the bush? LOL.

I think you should lower your criterias because they are just not making V6 Camaros right now (I think they are only buiding 1% of what they would normally built).

I gave a $2000 deposit on September 1, 2022 to my local Montreal dealer for a manual 1SS since a 2SS was impossbilbe to get. Salesman and Sales Manager told me that I would get it and not to worry. After 6 months of BS they finally told me they never got any allocation. I went to an other dealer and got back my $2000 deposit.

I've lowered a bit my criterias and I should have something to announce soon...

Maybe you could get a manual LT1 with the RS Package and the bose system for the same price.

Finally car is built, now in the delivery process, only 1.5 hrs from the plant so maybe next week? Shouldn't be this hard to buy a car !

Good to hear, you and I are in the same neighborhood. April 5 I received my built status. 3800. Still waiting. With any luck we’ll be on the same transport.
I think they go to Woodstock first

Would think the truck would just stop off here first as my dealer is in Windsor on the way to Woodstock. When I bought my 'Vette it was produced on a Thursday, at the dealer in Toronto on the next Monday. That from Bowling Green, Kentucky, a lot further than Lansing, Mich.. Must have hit the shipping just right on that one. Expect a week or two for the Camaro but you never know.

At least I know it exists, dealer gave me the Vin yesterday. The status code 4300 indicates it is likely at the shippers lot now waiting for loading, that was yesterday. I see truckers unloading vehicles on Saturdays at dealerships so it is a 6 day weekly delivery schedule.

Congrats you've been waiting awhile for it! I placed my order middle of January and I'm still waiting, dealership told me they expect it to be built end of this month. Hoping they're right. Im starting to get antsy for mine. First camaro for me, have always wanted to get one.

That’s great. Maybe a little bit of luck, we’re both coming together. Lol. My dealer hasn’t gotten any newer update. They say a lot of times they just show up. Anyway like you say. Nice to know it’s built and your names on it. Congrats

New to the forum. Ordered a ZL1 manual in February. Dealer had an allocation Feb 8th, and my order was accepted. Been sitting in 2000 status since.

Great, so at least 3 Camaros built, at 4300 and waiting to be shipped to Ontario. Add in 3-4 dealer orders and we could have a full truck that will be sent out any day, at least so I hope .

That seems out of the ordinary, generally once an allocation is given the car is built within 1-2 months tops. However, maybe it works differently for the ZL1 trim.

I said as much to the dealer, and he has been pushing his rep to try and move it along. It could be a ZL1 thing, but not sure. We had Gm confirm the allocation was good for a ZL1 when I took the allocation is feb. so it should be good. I thought about getting the 1le package, but they said I couldn't use the allocation for the 1le package. SO here I wait impatiently lol!

Camaro's are built on the same line as the Cadillac (same platform) so there is likely plenty of the combination from the Lansing plant to fill a truck coming this way. Trouble is there is just no way to predict it.

Some are getting built , mine the week of April 10th and I saw a few mentions of Americans seeing their's built or new ones at dealers. The 2SS was constrained to 15% of production for sometime, there is often a pause due to the summer tires in the winter as they don't like to ship to cold climates. Not sure what the constraints are today.

I had to remove the front splitter and side rockers from my order as they had no supply of the parts , that got the order finally scheduled for production. Likely add them on myself this summer. ACS composites makes the front splitter for GM, it is exactly the same dimensions. I confirmed that they are a supplier to GM.
