I think it’s great you were able to get the C8 without having to sacrifice the ZL1. At some point I want to drive a C8 but I really like my SS 1LE always liked Camaros this is the second one I’ve owned. 1st car was an 81 Z28. Life is too short to not enjoy it sometimes. I was originally going to get another Camaro maybe a gen 1 Z28or a gen 5 Z28 when I retire 2023ish but seeing a couple guys I worked with retire and die a couple years after caused me to say f**k it and I pulled the trigger on it. So glad I did never driven anything like it and I’ve driven my buddies kit SC Cobra.

Anyway at first my wife was like really “thinking (Redneck car)” She said why wouldn’t you want a BMW or Audi. I was like I can’t stand those cars I want a Camaro. She loves it now by the way. Who cares about stigma I get what I want because I like it. Not because of what other people think is cool or not.

I’ll look forward to seeing more content from you on both of cool cars.

I agree with most of this - the chassis is very good. The Z06 should be amazing. However, it doesn't have the lines/wow factor of a high end sports car in my view, it's kind of mass production angular, maybe even gaudy in some respects.

In the end it will still be a vette, with the mid-50s-guy-with-a-paunch stigma (just as the Camaro will always have the redneck stigma, but I'm ok with that)

Put the vette next to a McLaren (or a Ferrari) and it all becomes clear

52 here and sill no paunch, the C8 gives me the wow factor. Hoping to place my order soon as possible. I see no stigma attached to either car other then by negative crowds.
