As it is, they make each car individually. 6 cyl auto with recaros. Next one is a loaded ZLE, next one is a 2SS-1LE with sunroof. Blah, Blah, Blah. The factory can do this and turn a profit.

They add the garbage to "justify" the price. Ya, it's 50K, but look at all the "free options" that are standard. Those options are priced into the "base" car to increase profits.

The cars would have to be re-certified for crash worthiness on side impact from the addition of the manual crank windows.

So, how much do you think THAT would save? lol

Yes that’s what I was thinking initially, until I realized you have to go through that list 18 times again for each option. Because each option has a run down of this entire list per option

I'm not following...

There are 18 items available. I can pick any one. Or any two. Or any three. That's what I listed out.

Iterating through the list for each option would only be needed if the order in which the options were chosen mattered, and it doesn't. Or am I missing something?

for each option count, so the total is a sum of these from k=1 to 18 where n=18 and the selection is a set, not a list, that is, order is irrelevant.
