I was 16. Bought an 86 Sport Coupe. Red on red, 2.8 liter 5 speed. Loved that car. Drove it into the ground! My 16 SS is the best Camaro I've owned, but my 89 Iroc is far and away my favorite! I will likely drive my '16 SS for a few years and sell it to get back into an Iroc. Mine was fully resto-modded and "complete", but at this point in life I'd rather own a stock survivor.

In 1994, I was 18. I traded my 1988 300ZX 2 seater for a 1987 305TPI IROC-Z. Loved the IROC but it was a turd. I think I kept it for about 6 months and got another 300ZX. lol

I didn't get my next Camaro until 2007 but I did have a few Trans Ams between 1998 and 2007.

I bought my first Camaro when I was 16, a 87 Camaro V6 Automatic. Owner couldn't get it to fire up again so I bought it for $600. Threw in 350ci TH350 did somebody work and rewired it all. Got it done the day of my graduation never have I been so happy. The mint shape red interior and no AC sweating my bag off all the way to the graduation ceremony.

Now I got a 18 1LE 2SS bought brand new from the show room floor

At 72 I will be purchasing my first ZL1 on Monday 2/17 (new 2019 Riverside blue). But I have owned four other Camaro's in the past.

I was 30 when I bought my first Camaro. A 1991 Z28 5.7L that was street-ably modified and fast for its day.

I was a Trans Am guy first and bought the 76 when I was 19 in 1982.

It’s not a midlife crisis if consistent with a lifetimes behavior

1976 Trans Am 455, 4-speed, Bandit Y82, hurst hatch. 1 of 110 (2nd car, bought in 1982, owned 27 years. See pictures in my profile.

1978 Firebird, auto 305 V8, Black/Black

1978 Skybird, auto 305 V8

1978 Trans Am 6.6L, 4-speed, Bandit Y82, hurst hatch (very early build before Fisher tops)

1991 Z28, 5.7L auto, Black

1992 Camaro RS, teal

1996 Firebird V6, M6, Black, t-top (ordered)

2013 ZL1 M6 Blue-ray (new)

2016 2SS A8 Nightfall Gray 1st customer blade spoiler (ordered)

2018 2SS M6 Hot Wheels (new)

My first new car was a 1984 Monte Carlo SS, Blue, bucket seats. I was 21.

Best daily driver I ever owned was a 2004 GTO LS1 M6, Black. Bought new and drove it 11-1/2 flawlessly years

I was always a Ford guy. Back in 1965 I had a K-Code Mustang. Over the years I have had multiple performance vehicles (390 Torino, Original Taurus SHO, 1993 Mustang Coupe which I highly modified and supercharged to name a few). Also tried the "traditional" sports car thing on and off too (Triumph TR-4A, Fiat Spider).

Anyway, now at 72 years old, this is my first Camaro and what a fabulous car it is. So, yes there are some other old guys here

I’m 53 I bought my first used Camaro at 50 it was a 2015 RS 6spd traded that for a 17 RS A8, then I saw the 19 SS and the rest is history

At 51, I sold my Mustang and bought my first Camaro - a 2018 2SS A8, EU model. Such a better car!

To the OP, I was 25 years old when I purchased a new 1994 z-28 6 speed manual, still own the car today. It sits along side my purchased new 2017 2ss 6 speed manual.
The 1994 is medium patriot red metallic and the 2017 is garnet red tintcoat.

Either 44 or 45. I just ordered a 2020 2SS 1LE and it should be ready right around my birthday. It will be the first Camaro I have owned. My father had one in the 70s and the 68 RS SS has been my favorite car since 1985, but this will be my first. I'm tired of waiting.
