So update on what had happened to my car I took it to the dealer at the beginning of January I haven't really updated this much only because of time not because any lawyers or anything like that they told me that it was caused because of a manufacturer defect in the valve and it caused a rod to blow and the rod blew a piston and then the piston blew the the block and there was a huge hole in the block and that was the cause of everything they took care of my car and replaced the motor there was like 25k+ worth of damage but they got it all fix and I will be picking up my car on Monday

Wow! What a mess. Glad they got it fixed up!

It seems you don't have time for periods and full sentences either.

Holy crap... ...$25k.... How much does a full crate LT1 cost?! Thats more than half the MSRP of the car!

Also not to be "that guy" but.. how does a valve cause a rod to malfunction? I'm failing to see the correlation there. The Rod is attached between the crank and the piston but a valve in no way touches it UNLESS the valve came in too deep somehow and the piston smacked it (which would indeed destroy your piston) causing your rod to bend due to the unexpected stress which may have cause the rod to backfire toward the crank and literally shoot out the bottom of the motor (explaining the loss of oil) ... but man... thats something there.

Drop a value into the cylinder and watch the fun begin. Had that happen on a race car years ago. Same thing happened. Bounced around the cylinder until it bend the rod and poked a nice hole in the side of an old school 010 SBC..

My dealer swears it needs 6. My other dealer said my old 2014 needed 5.
