100% agree, and half of the reason I'm getting a 1LE over a 2SS is to take it to the track and get better! Can't want for spring time at Summit Point/ VIR! (and wherever else I can find)

Have any of the reviews commented on ride comfort while on rough streets, compared to a regular SS?

Given the V6 1LE is basically the same suspension as the regular SS, you can compare the media drive comments accordingly. To me they read either contradictory or poorly phrased. One said the V6 1LE rides better and another says the SS 1LE rides better. The only real takeaway I got was the SS 1LE was firm but not jarring in track mode, which I'd hope that's the case!

I was referring to a SS 1le compared to a SS with MRC.

The 1LE will be firmer, yielding less for a given size bump due to stiffer springs and bushings and sway bars, as expected for a track pack.
Let's be honest; is it a relevant comparison? What're you really trying to find out?

I actually wanted to get either a 1LE SS in the future and slap a supercharger on it or get an M6 ZL1 for a daily driver. Guess the 1LE is not a smart idea for a DD?

This generation of 1LE adds that approach - PLUS magnetic ride control, which produces a near-Cadillac level of refinement. So, in short - the 1LE will be a great daily driver in terms of ride quality. By the way...the ZL1 will be no worse, nor better in that category...The 1LE uses the same tires, dampers, and general suspension setup of it's more expensive relative. |

Has anyone measured how much lower they sit? The lower profile tires can't be the only thing making them look lower. |

That's correct. Only one review so far even tried to articulate the SS 1LE was firmer than the V6 1LE, and didn't do it very well at that. We also have to remember that the only reviews have been at racetracks and smooth Nevada tarmac. Hearing a competent and articulate description of the ride quality in the rubble of our nations typical urban infrastructure would be incredibly helpful.
Given it appears only one forum member has actually taken delivery, and he appears understandably busy driving, we might have to wait until more actually hit the streets to get more relative feedback. ...also don't forget the SS 1LE and the ZL1 have the "same" FE4 suspension, so keep your eyes peeled for what those reviews and owners say about that ride.
